Doctor Who, Who am I?

Chapter 4.

It was a long five minutes, before they stopped hugging, the hug was a very well needed.

They both smiles warmly at each other.

"Do you remember everything?" River breaks the silence.

"Yes, even The Master. He did this as payback." Her smile turns into a frown.

"That guy I told you about? That... moved into my Flat building?" She air quotes 'flat' "That was him. That was the Master." She tells her wife.

"I am going to Kill him!" River says pissed.

"You can't." The Doctor says.

"Why not? All he does is brings trouble and" she smiles "I love you and he doesn't deserve to even be your enemy." She bites her lip.

"I know. I know you love me. And I love you." She says warmly. "But we have to be smart about this. He's back he must have known I'd get my memories soon. Or maybe" she thinks.

"Or it's a big game so he can get to you even more." River speaks with such annoyance in her tone.

"We have to get into...Oh, how did you get my Tardis here?" The Doctor spins remembering River had it in the corner.

"Spoilers!" River could not resist it.

The Doctor grins at her wife. "Right well... come along Song we have a lot to do." She heads directly for her ship she goes it speeds to the Console.

"I've missed you. I've missed you so much." A humming can be heard.

"I've missed you too." River chuckles.

"I meant.." the Doctor turns "Why is there a broken bed in my Tardis?" She walks over to it and raises an eyebrow her forehead scrunched as she turns to River.

"I-I Well, I landed the Tardis on it when I got her here." She laughs.

"Well, if you would leave a bed around." The Doctor turns back and walks to her Tardis.

"Yes I left it laying, just there. In my bedroom." River snorts quickly followed by covering her mouth.

"I like when you snort. It's cute. Adorable. Makes me fall even harder over my boots for you." The Doctor walks up to River.

"I think you mean Head over Heels." River smirks

"In this case Hell in heels" the Doctor says booping Rivers nose.

Suddenly the Doctor finds herself in a tight tight hug.

"River, lungs, can't breath." The Doctors hands wave a little in the air.

"Hush sweetie." River laughs as she feels the Doctors arms wrap around her and she loosens the hug she certainly didn't wanna suffocated her wife.

"I've missed you so much." River says realising how much she really did miss the Doctor.

"You are so incredible, I've missed your witty ways, your rambling about god knows what, yet you still slightly did that. Your Dynamicness, you're curiously and endless caring for others. How energetic you are towards everyone. You are funny, and overall an idiot but you're my idiot. My personal clown. Sorry sweetie but you are a clown. A clown that I love." She tightens the hugs again. "I love that even without your memories you were still all that and more, but I can't lie I've missed you,YOU!!"

"And even though I never knew it, I've missed you too River, so much. I'm always missing you. Even when your beside me." The Doctor tightens her hug now.

"Oh, sweetie."

"River? RIVER?" The Doctor steps back.

"Yes?" She smiles wickedly at her wife.

"HOW... how after a few months did you convince me to marry you?" She looks lost.

"We were already married does it count? Well I guess now I'm married too 'Dr Jane Smith' and we were both drunk so I've actually no idea. I was wondering when that would come to light." She chuckles softly.

"But maybe, maybe deep deep down, you just could not stop your true love leaking for me." She looks into The Doctor's eyes.

The Doctor's smile widens. "That's it." She agrees.

"But I? I was drunk and we got married remind me never to do that again." She laughs.

"Oh, well... sweetie the thing is... I like drunk you. You just throw yourself onto me, but your so soft and so what's the word? A fluffy Doctor. You just become so loving and caring even more it almost makes me sick." She laughs.

"Rude!" The Doctor turns to her ship, typing in coordinations.

"Wow." She turns again. "WOW, River you performed a surgery? Why were you in that hospital? You could have killed that woman." She stands shocked.

"Actually, I'm very qualified to perform surgery. There was a few years out of my life where I went and stuffier to become a surgeon and that I did. And I was there because I" River steps closer.

"I tracked you here, I didn't know you'd be at the hospital but to keep up appearances, I got a job, okay I was asked to go see the boss he knew I was in town. So I said yes." She smiles at her wife, smirking slightly at the reaction.

"You said that we had an important, Ooooooh." The Doctor's eyes widen.

"Yes! Our anniversary. Now we have another." River laughs

"Why don't we go to a restaurant, a space restaurant then we deal with the Master?"
The Doctor looks over arching an eyebrow at her wife.

"Mhm. I won't decline that offer. Possible a place with the finest wine. Earth wine is just it doesn't do it justice no more." River slowly walks more up to her wife.

"FiveFours it is then." The Doctor smiles.

"Ahh, the best seven star restaurant in the galaxy with the most pathetic name." River chuckles

The Doctor shakes her head. Within moments River uses her hand, bringing the Doctor's face to look at her, she cups her cheeks as she looks down into her eyes. She smiles warmly as she kisses her wife.

The kiss was not long, but to both women it felt like a lifetime, the spark they still shared, the feelings they both have still after all this time. River places a few kisses on the woman's cheek.

"You better get ready as well sweetie." She says as she heads up the stairs and down the halls to get herself in the most beautiful outfit. Not only to show off to her wife but to others.

And this is when the Doctor realises, as she watches River head up the stairs and disappears into the halls of her ship, this here is True love. This here is what she never wants to leave. She can't ever stop loving River, she won't ever not be in love with her wife. She will always and forever through infinity and beyond be in love with her River, her Melody, Her wife. Her best friend. Her everything, her soulmate. Her Doctor Song!
