PHINEAS' POV
"Grunkle Stan" showed Candace and I around on what he called a VIP tour of the Shack. I suggested that Stan should let me make modifications. The Shack looked as if it was about to fall apart anytime. Candace glared at me, as if telling me that I shouldn't do anything she wouldn't like me to do. Typical Candace behavior.
I was holding back my laughter, because I saw how poorly the monsters were designed. I didn't want to disrespect the old man. The tour finally ended, and I was hungry. Soos told me about the vending machine, and pointed to it.
When I saw the vending machine, I noticed that there was something weird about it. I noticed that the most commonly pressed buttons were A-1-B-C-3, which seemed like a secret code. I pressed A, then 1, then B, but Grunkle Stan noticed and pulled me away, warning me to never do that again because it "causes a malfunction".
I knew that he was lying, since I built a fully-functioning vending machine when I was five. It didn't work that way. But, I just pretended to believe him so I'd have another chance to try it.
DIPPER'S POV
That Phineas is really weird, I thought, as I watched him walk away from the vending machine. He seems to know everything about machines. Maybe he could help me solve the mysteries of Gravity Falls if he was interested. He'd be a really great addition to the team.
I shared my ideas with Mabel, but she disagreed.
"You don't just ask him to go with you in your so-called quest. He might not like seeing monsters and aliens."
"Fine, then. I'll just flip through the journals to find something that could convince him to join us."
"Dipper, isn't that a bad thing to do?"
"I guess."
Disappointed, I headed back to my room. I was suddenly surprised to see that there was someone, or something else inside. That, of course, was none other than Bill Cipher.
"Hey there, kiddo!"
MABEL'S POV
I wanted summer to last forever.
The thing was, I had the chance to do just that, and I turned it down. I still have weird dreams about it though. Except that they were about what could've happened if I had given the rift to Blendin. I re-imagined the dream in my head.
"Huh. That's...odd. This it?" I said. Blendin looked excited.
"Yes, that's it! Just hand it over and I'll do my thing. Unless you're ready to leave Gravity Falls."
"Just a little more summer." I muttered, handing the thing to Blendin.
"Oops." Blendin suddenly said, dropping and stomping on the rift's container.
"What?!" I screamed, terrified. Blendin took off his goggles to reveal his eyes, which glowed yellow and looked familiar. He laughed maniacally.
"Oh no! Wait, wait wait!" I shouted again, realizing that I just walked into Bill Cipher's trap. He snapped his fingers, and revealed his true form.
"At last! At long, long last! The gateway between worlds has opened! The event one billion years prophesized has finally come to pass! The day has come! The world is finally mine!" Bill exclaimed, as everything faded into black.
I usually woke up right after that. It kept me wondering what was going to happen to me. If that actually happened in some other universe, would something worse happen to this universe?

So, after months of waiting, I finally thought of something to advance the plot of this story. Sorry for the short chapters, though. Still, this turned out better than expected. Everything is starting to build up!
See ya in the next chapter!
