Courtney's POV

I was holding on to the railing standing at the stairway shocked. When my mom told me a 'friend' was here I thought she met Bridgette, or Emma. Even Gwen. But Scott....

I honestly wasn't expecting to see him. I was still dressed in my pajamas. If I knew he was coming over I would've wore something more.... how should I put it? Neat.

I decided to quit staring in shock and say something.

"Um... Scott. It's nice to see you. W-what brings you over?" I asked.

He was dressed in a teal flannel with black jeans and sneakers.

"Well, I was hoping that you could help me with something." He told me.

Yeah... because I wasn't about to go to sleep.

"Sure. What can I help you with?" I asked.

"Well. I-" Scott started.

"Okay, I have an important meeting to attend. After I leave I'm trusting that no funny business goes on while I'm gone." My mom told us.

"Mom, Scott's not like that." I told her.

"Okay. No making googly eyes at my daughter." My mom strictly told Scott.

"Yes mam." He saluted.

"As for you Courtney. I'm expecting a fair amount of maturity from you." My mom told me.

"Yes mom."

"And no kissing." My strictly told me.

"I know mom. Mommie kisses are the only good ones." I said.

"That's my girl." My mom smiled in approval.

My mom finished her coffee and left us two alone.

"Pfft. Mommie kisses?" Scott laughed.

"Shut up." I glared." Now what did you come over for?"

I noticed him wearing his school bag on his back.

"Geometry Homework?" I guessed.

"Yeah...." he looked over to his right." But are we able to hang out?"

"I'll think about it." I yawned.

I enjoy his company. But I was kinda tired. After doing all of that homework, I needed rest.

"Come on. I'll help you with your homework." I told him heading upstairs.

We headed upstairs to my room. Scott gazed at my room.

"Wow. I like your room. It's pretty and neat." He told me.

"Oh. Um, than-" I started.

"Just like you." He finished.

I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Um... thanks..."

We continued to smile at each other.

"But um, we really should get started on the homework." I told him.

"O-oh. Right." He nodded.

"Okay, so what is it you needed help with?" I asked.

He pulled out his homework and a pencil. I picked up the sheet and looked at it them back at him.

"Hm.... seems simple enough. You're just determining different types of parallelogram. Nothing too hard." I stated.

"Hehe.... could you help me with that?"

"Sure. Do you have the notes from yesterday?" I asked.
