I closed my laptop, yawning. It was 12:15 going in midnight. And it was still raining heavily outside. My stomach started grumbling , and only then I remembered that I haven't ate tonight. I was so into my work I totally forgot my hunger. Yawning, I went towards the window. I looked down to see if the rain had flooded the road, when I saw Uncle Greg, he works at my fathers shop right next to our house. I immediately knew he's waiting for the rain to stop, so I rummaged for an umbrella and went to help him.
"Oh! Lara? Still awake?" He was surprised when he saw me.
"I was going to sleep, but seeing you stuck here I came with an umbrella". I hurried up to give the umbrella and went inside the shop. At that time I was almost soaked.
"Lara! You are very kind, but I'm not waiting because I don't have an umbrella! I could just borrow one from the shop. I'm just waiting for the rain to stop, I don't think I can go if it's like this all night, even with an umbrella"
"Okay!" Again my stomach started grumbling just as I said that. I was so hungry. "Uncle, please wait until I come back with something to eat. I am so hungry"
