Mission #1 - Germany and UK (Part 1)

Marius's POV

I woke up to the sound of that well known annoying alarm, and I knew what day it was...

The day that we get to hear what the missions would be, Six still said she was waiting on Intel so we had that day off yesterday, but I am so groggy after the date with Monika.

I still can't believe we are finally dating after all those years, she's just perfect...

Suddenly I saw a hand waving in front of my face: "Hello~ Earth to Mr. Jäger??!!"

I got out of my thoughts and looked at Dominic's playful face.

Now that I think about it, I didn't see him in the dorm room before I left on a date with Monika, where was he lunging about?

"What?" I answered him before asking where he was yesterday evening.

"We have to be ready in 10 and you are still in your boxershorts leader" He said mockingly.

I rolled my eyes and went out of bed to get under the shower first before putting my uniform on and anything else I needed to take care of.

While I was dressing myself in my garments after showering I began questioning Dominic: "Hey, Dominic?" I started.

"Yeah?" He answered back getting everything else ready for himself.

"Where were you last night, before I went out with Monika I didn't see you."

He smiled to himself and then he decided to answer: "I was on a 'friendly' date with Elzbieta."

I saw him smiling brightly, but what I am more surprised about is that he got that feisty girl on a date, I am intrigued on how he did that, she doesn't seem like an easy girl to get around with.

"How did the goofy Dom here get that to work out?" I tried to sound funny or teasingly, but it didn't really bother him, instead he just truthfully answered me.

"Well, it all happened really fast but, I just left our dorm room, not really looking where I went but also a bit did look where I went, but just as I didn't look someone crashed into me, and guess what? It was Elzbieta!"

To be honest, Ela doesn't seem like a clumsy woman to me though... I thought to myself, but I believe him, he never lied to me before, so why would he now out of nowhere?

"Interesting..." Is all I managed to say, but I had a follow-up: "But you haven't said the part yet how you asked her out or anything."

Dominic sighed and answered back: "I was still getting to that part impatient Air Marshall!" He rolled his eyes while saying that.

"Anyways, she fell to the ground, and I didn't and the polite man I am I offered my hand to get her up, I was looking at her a lot and she obviously noticed."

Oh this is going to be good, did she slap him or anything? I smirked at couldn't wait for the next follow up of the story.

"She noticed but she didn't hit me surprisingly, she just yelled at me a bit, and.. Well.. Without thinking this through I told her how I could make it up to her while she was staring angry at me, and that is how I thought of the friendly date, she did say she would come along if I paid for everything, but the funny thing is... She didn't want me to pay anything yesterday, it's as if she changed her mind in an instant in some weird way!"

I chuckled towards Dominic; "That's how women are Dom, one moment they want that and the other moment they want the other!"

I saw Dominic just rolling his eyes towards that comment, but he decided to quickly put the subject about me.

"How did your date go with Monika anyway?"

I paused a bit after I finally fully dressed myself.

"Why do you want to know?" I said a bit after the pause.

"I'm curious, because it was so obvious that Monika had a crush on you, Elias just kept ruining the fun of saying it out loud every time." He rolled his eyes the moment he mentioned Elias and shrugged.

"Well, if you really want to know, Monika and I are dating now."

Dominic gasped and I started wondering if it was a bad idea telling him, since he can barely to never keep his mouth shut, and now he even has others operators to tell and I don't really want the others to know yet, even though I didn't tell Monika I still want to keep it a secret...

But wait, if I wanted to keep it a secret then why the hell did I tell Dominic, one of the people I can't even trust with confidential stuff like this?!

Ugh sometimes I don't even think myself, and that is when stupid mistakes like these happen, I wish I could hate myself for it but sometimes it saves my life and that of others.

~All German and British units, report to the Briefing Room, we have intel of your new mission!~

Well... There goes our day off, that I knew we wouldn't have today anyway...

"Well, let's go!" Dominic said a bit too enthusiastic.

The moment Dominic and I walked out we came across Mark and James, we greeted each other and we immediately knew that our Countries were in danger.

We quickly made our way to the briefing room.

The moment we arrived, Six was already there, and it seems only the four of us were there, I guess Elias and Monika are running late for some weird reason.

Suddenly we heard two people running, as we turned around we saw Seamus and Mike running in, a bit out of breath.

As soon as they stopped running and approached us I decided to ask them if they saw Elias and Monika.

"No, sorry mate, we haven't seen them on our way here." Mike answered.

"See who?" I heard a female voice call out from the side of the entrance, as if an angel appeared there she was and Elias sludging behind her.

Wow, seems as if Elias had a rough night for a weird reason, but maybe he just couldn't sleep. I won't ask him about it for now.

"I'm glad all of you have finally arrived, as you may know, this is about Germany and the UK who are being under attack right now." Six said looking firmly at all of us.

"The moment our Russian operators finished off the White Masks in Russia, some of them escape but also lost a document very important to us, it reveals the places the White Masks are going to attack next." Six continued.

We all looked at each other, and nodding to confirm we have each other's backs.

"I will send this document to all of you on your devices, check every place that is in your Country and make sure you are at those places in the right time to prevent them from attacking. Understood?"

We all nodded and said: "Yes, ma'am!"

"Dismissed, go get your stuff ready and be ready to head out in 20 minutes!" Six said before turning back to her office.

And with that we all headed back to our respective dorms and rooms to get our stuff ready before we had to leave.
