When I walked through the gate I felt a weird heaviness wash over me. I ignored it and kept walking. My legs felt like jelly and my vision had gotten blurry. This sort of things happens when I get scared or nervous. My breath quickened and my chest felt like something heavy was laying on it.
The sun was gone when I arrived and it was dark. The shining stars in the sky were the only thing I could really see other than the silhouette of the mansion.
I reached the steps and heaved myself up them. I approached the door with caution. My arm was stretched out to grab the handle but I couldn't touch it.
"Just do it come on. All you need to do is kill the fool in here and get out then you can leave" I gave myself words of encouragement.
At that moment I imagined Usagi and the others presenting me with a gigantic cake all for me. To congratulate me for my first kill.
I felt my cheeks heat up thinking about it. I took the handle and opened the door. The door made a small noise as I opened it. I shielded my eyes from the bright rays of the light that greeted me.
I walked into the mansion and kept closed the door behind me. All I need to do is find the vampire and kill him that's it after that I may leave. The mansion looked very nice from what I could see. There is a rumor that many vampires are wealthy. I think that the rumor may be true.
I walk further into the house when I see someone on a couch. It must be the one I am supposed to kill. I sneak in there. I look at the person closer. He has a beautiful face that's for sure. His hair is like a rosy red.
He looked human.
"Don't let them fool you. Vampires look very human. The only way we can tell the difference is by their ice cold skin" I remember my teacher telling me that.
I was sitting next to Usagi taking notes. I gazed at her.
"Is that true Usagi" I asked.
"Yep as true as everything else we learn here. But another way I know how to tell is of you cut yourself, enough to make a little bit of blood come out. if their eyes turn red then they are for sure a vampire".
Usagi is so smart. She is one if the best vampire hunters in the Academy. She's fought many vampires taking them down one by one. I want to be like her. So that's why I'm here now.
I placed my small pale fingers on his skin. My left hand felt naked without my glove on. His skin was ice cold. He was freezing. A small chill went down my spine.
In my small purse I looked for a needle. I hated needles. They freak me out. I also have a fear of blood but if I become brave and strong I may get used to seeing blood and I will be able to get over that fear.
"Here we go" I take out a small sewing needle with a red tip at the top.
Slowly I bring the needle closer and closer to my finger. I stop when I hear a small groan. I look at the boy and his head was turned my way. He opens his eyes to reveal emeralds. I gaze at his eyes.
He sits up on the couch and stretches his arms out.
"Who the hell are you" he yawned.
"Uh" I was unable to answer his question. I was stuck.
"Well whoever you are" he leaned forward and grabbed my wrist, I drop the needle "your gonna be mine for a while" I get pulled onto the couch.
His big body hovering over mine. He had a devilish smirk on his face. I would get some one my weapons in my purse but my hands her being held above my head. I squirmed trying to get free.
