The Birth of a "King"

~Luka POV~

         I  was looking through some old photos of my nephew, Masahiko, and I. I know this may sound over used but nothing has been the same without him, including myself. I know the kid wouldn't want me to be all depressed but what should I do? I mean I'm already working for Easter. I sighed, "I wish I could be my old self, so I could welcome him with open arms, as if nothing changed. I wish to express my real emotions and be more of a leader again." I looked down at a photo of the both of us, after one of his games. Suddenly, there was this bright golden light. After the light disapeared, an orange egg with white roses designed on it and a white ribbon was left on the palm of my hand. Seconds later realization hit me and I heard a crack. Is it hatching? My eyes widened as I saw the little guardian character pop out of the egg.

        "Greetings! My name is Rei and I'm your Guardian Character but you may refer to me as King! Or God!", Rei exlaimed. Ok, I know I wished to be more outgoing and a leader but HOW DID I GET STUCK WITH A TYRANT?! "Luka.", I simply replied. "Not much of a talker, huh?', Rei asked. I can see that Rei knew of my pain. She floated by my anime DVDs and picked up my Attack on Titan DVD case. "Me want to watch titanz!", she exclaimed. I chuckled, she's so cute and amusing for a tyrant. I turned on my laptop, and inserted the disc. As we watched Attack on Titan, my mind wandered to today's events. I was caught helping an X Egg. Well Kairi's got something to scold about tommorrow, my phone soeen beeped, it turns out I got a text from Kairi. Nevermind. I texted back that I was sorry and that I only did it because I knew how it felt. Not to mention, I now bear a chara; he texted back that he would pick me up tomorrow , and  walk to school. I blushed. Ok, I admit it, Kairi is pretty handsome but that's it! Nothing else! We later texted our goodbyes.

        "Marco! NOOOOO", Rei cried. Anime tears fell off her eyes like a waterfall. I tried comforting her. Later on, we watched even more episodes with feels and heart stopping suspense. Rei is so into the show and crying or screaming "NOOOOO" at every scene. I already rewatched it so many times, that I know what's going to happen next, including the dialouge. Well, this is going to be a long night.
