She was running for so long. Her legs struggling to keep carrying on. She wanted to rest, but couldn't even try to, she didn't know if he would catch up to her. Fear motivating her to keep going, to keep running, to keep jumping over big roots from the trees around her. But as if her determination wasn't enough, she tripped, falling down with a loud thud into the dirt beneath. This was it, she was done for, her luck has reached it's limits. She couldn't stand up, she was too weak to do so.
While slowly starting to pass out he found her.
A small 'no' was the only thing she could manage to get out of herself before passing out and the scene in front of her fading to black.

So now he had a worn out female lay in front of him. He could take her back to the place she escaped from or let her go. His thoughts pondered a lot on what to do. He lifts her limp body over his shoulder and starts walking towards the end of the forest. He has a bit of sympathy left for her, she had come so close to being free and escaping him.
Faintly he started hearing the sound of traffic, signaling he was close to the edge of the forest.
He rested her body against a tall tree close to a sidewalk.
'It's time to let her go.' he thought as he walked back into the deep forest, dissapering as he heard screams for an ambulance from stangers.
"Maybe we'll meet again."
