"So Julie you dance?" Andrew asks, talking down to her like she's a toddler that just learned how to interact with other humans.

"I'm a head prima ballerina with the New York City Ballet." Juliet nods, not even trying to correct him for calling her Julie. She doesn't mind people calling her that, it's how they know her, but the name tag she has stuck onto the leg of her jeans does say Juliet .

"Yeah I know you dance, but what's your real job?" Andrew presses, taking a bite of his food that has remained untouched because he's been berating the girl with questions.

"It's a real job." Juliet says flatly, growing increasingly annoyed with the douche bag questions he's been asking her.

"Oh wow, so I bet you get a lot of guys." He nods attentively, something glinting in his eyes that really makes Juliet feel uneasy.

"How is that relevant?" Juliet asks, furrowing her eyebrows and taking a long sip of her water so she doesn't have to say anything else. Timothee's hand brushes against Juliet's thigh and she looks at him, shrugging her shoulders and brushing off what just happened with Andrew.

"Do you want to leave?" Timothee asks, leaning closer to Juliet's ear so nobody else can hear him. The girl shakes her head and pushes her lips out, shaking one of her hands. She doesn't want to ruin Timothee's time, she gets this all the time. The stigma around dancers constantly surrounds her, so she has numerous guys fetishize her almost everyday.

"I'm fine, happens all the time." She replies quickly, shoveling salad into her mouth and smiling at him with her mouth full. He wants to blurt out a compliment, about how adorable she is, but doesn't want to seem like Andrew so he keeps his mouth shut.

"Were you in the Nutcracker last year?" Candice, the redhead from earlier in the day, asks Juliet to divert for the awkwardness that just ensued.

"Sugarplum Fairy." Juliet nods and Candice does a cute little clap, wiggling around in her seat.

"I saw you on Christmas Day with my parents, you are so polished and elegant!" She exclaims, smiling across the table at the dark haired girl. Juliet shakes her head and sips her wine, setting down the glass before replying.

"Thank you." She smiles, glancing at Timothee and nudging his shoulder. "Sorry, excuse me, I'm going to visit the toilet." She says, setting her napkin on her finished plate and scooting her chair out from the table. Juliet shuts the door and takes a deep breath, running a hand through her hair before fumbling with the lock.
