Shaiapouf x Reader

Don't Kill it!

   I ran. I ran, ran, and ran, as fast as possible. I'm not very strong but my nen is decent, so I was able to kill one of the weaker ones, one of the chimera ants. But. . . killing that chimera ant had gotten the attention of another. Now I'm being chased. Luckily, this one isn't very fast, unlike a few of the others. 

   I managed to find a small opening in the ground, like a small cave. I climbed in as quickly as possible, curling up in a ball  trying my best to hide myself. There's hundreds of other people around so hopefully he won't be able to sense my presence. 

   I had started to calm down until all of a sudden I saw a small figure peak in the opening of the cave, smiling down at me creepily. 'A chimera ant. . oh no. . .' I used my nen to summon my large, multi-bladed throwing blades. But it was too late, the chimera ant reached down into the cave and yanked me out, going for the throat, when all of a sudden, another figure appeared above us. I looked up and squinted my eyes, the males large wings lighting up the night sky. "Don't kill it!" he yelled at the chimera ant who was holding me by the neck. "Attractive females like this can be useful for breeding. Remember? We've been gathering the healthy and good-looking ones for the male chimeras to mate with. Bring her to the palace and put her in the room with the rest of them." I gasped. . .'I'm still quite young but i doubt that matters to them.'

   The chimera ant reluctantly took me to 'the room' that that butterfly like ant had mentioned. There were many other girls there, most looked to be my age or a few years older. He put me down next to a girl that looked to be a bit younger then me. . . 'she looks so terrified, poor girl' the chimera ant chained my ankle down and left the room, leaving me with the small, frail, terrified girl.

-About 30 minutes later-

   That tall, slim, butterfly chimera ant walked into the room. His eyes darted around the room and landed on me. He walked toward me. Out of all the chimeras. . . he was probably the most human looking one I had seen so far. Once he got closer I finally worked up the courage to speak, "If you're going to let them use me as some kind of sex toy, kill me now!" he just narrowed his eyes and made a small laughing noise, but didn't smile. I growled. He just sighed, "well, I suppose i'll leave you be for a bit longer, I'll let you get a bit more used to you surroundings, try talking to the others." That was the last thing he said before he left the room.

   As soon as the man closed the door i scoffed, looking to the girl next to me, "hey, you, how long have you been here? Have they done anything to you?" The girl jumped slightly and took a minute to process what I had said. "O-oh, I've been here for a couple weeks now. . . but they haven't done anything to me. . . shaiapouf says I'm still too weak." I  tilted my head, "Shaiapouf?" the girl sighed. . . "that man. . . the one that was just in here. He's a royal guard of the king. He doesn't do any of the mating. I think he's like. . . gay. . . He always speaks of the king so highly, more so then the other royal guards, I think he actually loves the king, but the king cares more about the blind human girl that I had eaten lunch with a couple of days ago. The king had asked shaiapouf to order me to eat with her because she gets lonely. She's very nice. . ."

   The girl had stopped talking and she looked at me with a smile and I smiled back. She looked down and closed her eyes, curling up in a tight ball. I put a hand on her back and rubbed it like a caring mother. I wanted her to at least know someone was there for her.

   The next morning, some maids came in and bathed us all, dressings us in new gowns. They gathered a few girls and took them out of the room. I didn't have to ask where they were going, I was already well aware. 

   "Oh!" I turned to the girl I had been talking to last night, "By the way, what is your name? I'm [Y/N]" The girl looked up at me with a smile, "I'm Z!"

[Okay so you may notice i gave the girl my name, or at least one of my names. For a second I had thought about making a plot twist to where the little girl was the reader and the narrator was me but i decided not to XD]
