Two weeks had already passed since Yuri and Jungkook's so-called "date".

And somehow, things between them had become... strange.

Not entirely awkward, but not exactly normal either.

Yuri still found herself thinking about the necklace Jungkook gave her sometimes. The "YJ" pendant rested quietly inside her drawer, yet every time she looked at it, her heart reacted in ways she refused to acknowledge.

Unfortunately, she had no time to think about that now.

She was currently walking toward the Student Council Room after being summoned by the president of the TOUGH Partylist.

Yes, it was already the second quarter, but apparently the student elections had only been finalized a month ago. Yuri still found the entire situation ridiculous. The school owners—Jungkook's parents—weren't even directly handling the administration. They simply owned the school while the principal managed everything else.

Upon arriving at the SCR, Yuri knocked politely.

"Come in."

She stepped inside and immediately bowed her head slightly.

"You called for me, ma'am?" Yuri asked.

The principal smiled warmly before glancing at the tall senior sitting beside her.

"Actually, Kurt wants to discuss something with you."

Kurt-the current candidate running for president of the TOUGH Partylist-looked at Yuri seriously. As a fourth-year student, he was known for being intelligent, disciplined, and respected throughout the school.

"So what is it, Kurt?" Yuri corrected herself awkwardly.

Kurt chuckled softly.

"I want you to run as Vice President for our partylist."

Silence.

Then-

"WHAT?!"

Even the principal laughed at Yuri's reaction.

"Oh, come on," Kurt said with amusement. "What's wrong with it?"

"Everything!" Yuri protested. "Shouldn't I start as a year representative or something? Why Vice President immediately?"

Kurt leaned back against his chair calmly.

"Because you're qualified."

Yuri blinked.

"You're consistently at the top of your class. Students listen to you. Teachers trust you. And honestly?" He smiled slightly. "You have leadership potential whether you realize it or not."

Yuri stared at him, completely caught off guard.

"I..." She sighed softly. "I'll think about it."

"That's fine," Kurt replied. "But I need your answer tomorrow. Campaign week starts next week."

Yuri nodded politely before leaving the room, still overwhelmed by the conversation.

Why would someone like Kurt trust her with something that important?

Lost in thought, Yuri headed toward her classroom.

But the moment she stepped inside-her mood instantly dropped.

Jungkook was there.

And beside him sat Steph-the fourth-ranked student in their class.

The two of them were laughing together. Yuri immediately looked away.
