She wanted to cry. She couldn't stand being alone. Garry was suppose to make it through with her, and yet, he broke that promise.
Ib all alone.
"Honey! Come look at the news!!" Her mother shouted from below. Ib ran as fast as her 16 year old legs could take her. Her mother stared at her in shock, "Ib, honey, you have got to stop painting with that blue and purple! Your wasting all of it, that paint is very expensive." Ignoring her mothers comment she took a seat on the couch.
"What about I buy you a pretty yellow, or!! Or! A rose red!?"
Ib almost choked on her own spit, she looked up to her mother in surprise. Ever since she turned 13 all her memories came flooding back. Well, I couldn't say all, due to the fact blue, red and yellow clouded her memory. Sometimes she imagines a creepy portrait jumping off the wall chasing after her. But, of CORSE, she ends up pushing that thought to the back of her mind.
"Anyways! I was gonna show you the news," Ib groaned, she hated the news. "Don't be like that honey!" And then she smacked her with a kitchen towel.
When Ib focused on the TV more she realized what was going on. Her favorite art museum was burning in flames.
It felt like life crumbled at her feet. All the color faded from her face being replaced with a nice shade of white.
"No.. This isn't happening!" Ib screamed at herself. There was something about that gallery that she deeply loved. But she couldn't figure out what.
Her mother stared at her in concern. "Ib what's wrong! Your acting strange!" Everything her mother said to her was cracked. It didn't make sense at all. 'Strange' wasn't the word. More like insane.
The teenager ran towards the door mentally yelling at herself, blaming everything on her own body. "Honey!! Where are you going?!" Her mother shouted.
"I need to find....
Garry."
