"By the way, your name was April, right?" Han questioned excitingly. "April...not Aepril" as she corrected the word with a Parisian accent. Hannah didn't remain on one topic instead she decided to ask more of her famous mom's work.
"Do you know that your mom is the one who designed all of the dresses at the French Empress movie!?" As Han shared all her knowledge to the table while Ales eats her bacon with one swallow. April keeps on nodding but with a shy reply. When Ales was about to devour another one, out of a sudden- HEY!!!!!!!! A loud shout interrupted her date with her precious bacon."What makes you think, you're the only one who's going to devour two paper bags of bacon!?!?". Alec sighed and looked at the back of her seat. "Aiden, why would I eat them when you're here? I kinda want to eat them after lunch but you caught me!" As Ales chuckled nervously. Aiden gave her an angry look. "Hmm!!! Fine!!!". Ales opened her bag and then gave her another paper bag of bacon. "Thanks, sis!!!!" Giving her a very happy look. Ales gave him "not so funny look" in front of him. Before Aiden could walk out of the cafeteria, he suddenly remembers something that he wants to tell to Ales. "By the way Ales, there's this transfer student who seems to be good at soccer and he could be a good competition for you". Ales stopped eating her lunch and suddenly remembered a bad memory. "Aiden, I thought we had a deal not to talk about that remember!? Bro and Sis promise, right!?"
Aiden suddenly remembered. "Oh!sorry about that, I thought he could be a better foe for you to play with, you know? It's been 2 years since you played and...." Ales didn't let Aiden continue. " Wait, He!?" She questioned. "We have a new guy on our team and he's already doing damn great......but not as great as you, Lady Soccer". Suddenly, Hannah spits the juice out of her mouth and then looked at Ales. "Wait you're a Lady Soccer!?!?" She shouted. Ales widened her eyes as a sign to not say it aloud. April looked at her confused and questioned why. Ales couldn't open her mouth to say it. Many devastating things have happened to her and wanted to leave it and let it all fade at the time as if it didn't happen. "Forgive me, I didn't know that would be painful for you" Hannah apologized. "It's ok" Ales replied. "Oh! Thanks for not eating my bacon and I need to go or I'll be scolded by our Captain"
"Sure! No problem, Take care!"Aiden walked off with a bunch of friends with him. Hannah moved closely to Ales whispering "Hey, your brother looks hot today". Ales looked at Hannah with a not so good look. "Really?that guy? You must be out of your mind". Hannah twisted her head trying to not accept the fact that Ales doesn't respect her brother that much. The bell rang with great power with students standing to get out of the canteen. "Looks like I'll be going now, see ya!" As Ales walked away from April and Hannah, waving. She walked away with April and Hannah walking away too. Before she could even walk out, she looked on her surroundings left and right, trying not to be seen by him.
She walked with pace and went to her classroom. As she walked in, people were chatting and gossiping about things while she went straight for her chair. She sat down and started to open her textbook. She doesn't really study, she just reads some words and kinda enjoys it. A random classmate walks straight to her and said "Hey Ales! How diligent of you to read early!" As the student complimented her. Ales looked surprised at that time. "Yet, it's a shame that you don't take your knowledge seriously" she smiled to Ales with great pride and then rolled her eyes while walking away to Ales. She already knew that the girl was no kind one even looking at her was pretty obvious. She looked down and clenched her fist deeply. "I knew it, people use good words to defy others..." As she spoke to herself.
She closed her textbook to not attract attention to everyone. "People think I'm weird and different but I just want to show everyone the real me..." she looked to the group where the random girl joined in. "But it seems no one's interested...hiding it is the best choice" She looked down having a heavy rock deep inside her heart pulling it down. She wanted to cry but she didn't also want to make a scene so she tried to pull back her tears by widening her eyes. The only thing she wanted to do is not to attract attention, fame or bully. Well, since the first year. The door opened, making the students scram and went back to their own proper seats. "Good afternoon class" as the History teacher replied with such British tone. "Good morning sir Davis" as all of them replied too. He told them to seat and so they did as he told. "Today, as short notice, we have a transfer student who will be changing sections to here". Everyone gossiped with great excitement and some, with despair. Ales was pretty curious about it but was also worried if HE will be joining them for the whole year. She thought to herself "I mean, c'mon! Why would a popular perfect and aaaaaa...... smiling guy be transferred here? I mean it's not like I'm expecting things. It's just that there are too many transfer students this year so why worry?"
The sound of steps made Ales stop daydreaming. The whole classroom stood silent to see who it was. Ales widened her eyes and wished that she was still daydreaming
Ahh shit"Please introduce yourself" Ales could feel her heartbeat again yet it was a different kind of feeling. It wasn't her intention to feel it that way yet it was forcing her to feel something pink. "Hey, I'm Christopher Morvier and..."He stopped and looked at his surroundings. Ales knew what he was doing. So she tried not to keep eye contact with him and changes her appearance by taking off her scrunchie and covering her face. "Nice to meet you" he continued. He looked tired yet handled it nice by not dozing off. All girls were gossiping of how handsome he was well, Ales could obviously know because of the look of their faces. And how loud they are whispering. Ales ignored them and tried to look down. "Well, Mr. Morvier, since you're new, you can sit wherever you like!" The teacher said cheerfully.
Everyone was shocked to let him find what chair he wants. Everyone got jealous but was mostly shocked by it. Ales already knew him and didn't want to be reminded of it. She knew he was popular since his father is one of the wealthiest people in the country. But she used to adore him years ago like a lot. She peeked a little to see how satisfied Christopher be but by the looks of his face, he seemed troubled.
