+   He has a crush on Demi Lovato.

+   Cried the most when they lost the X-Factor.

x   Loves shy girls.

+  Loves brown eyes.

x Aside from being a talented singer, Niall is also great on the guitar. He’s quoted as saying that receiving a guitar for Christmas was the best present he could have ever received.

+ He has had a dream since he was six years old that he would make it to number one in America.

x He auditioned as a solo artist in Dublin, on 15th of April 2010.

+ His favourite animals are giraffes.

x His star sign is Virgo. *According to the star sign he is analytical, observant, helpful, reliable and precise.*

+ He has one brother called Greg.

x Niall is the only member of One Direction who was not born in the England. He was born in Mullingar, Ireland.

+ His favourite subject in school was Geography.

x Niall doesn't like girls who act stupid just because they think it's cute, she likes intelligent girls.

+ On One Direction’s debut album, Up All Night, Niall has the least solos out of the whole band, with him only singing 1 minute 25 seconds on his own.

x Niall has a secret baking talent! According to his dad he makes the best cupcakes ever and has a huge sweet tooth.

+ Niall is incredibly sensitive and even cried whilst watching Finding Nemo and The Notebook.

x When One Direction appeared on iCarly in 2012 they had to retake one scene nine times because Niall couldn’t stop laughing.

+ Niall is known for loving food and he once revealed that his worst nightmare was when he dreamt all the food in the world had disappeared and he woke up crying!

x Niall attended the Catholic secondary school Coláiste Mhuire in Mullingar.

+ Niall says he’s only read one book in its entirety – the American classic ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’.

x Niall is an accomplished guitar player and was a fervent follower of indie music growing up.

+ Niall’s favourite song of all time is ‘Viva La Vida’ by Coldplay.

x One of Niall’s biggest idols is Michael Bublé. He describes the Canadian crooner as an “absolute hero.”

+ Alongside Coldplay, Niall is a big fan of rock bands The Eagles, Bon Jovi and The Script.

x Niall’s dad describes him as “a real gent, a lovely, well-mannered, well brought-up lad."

+ Niall told The Hits Radio that his ideal way to relax is to “sit back, get the feet up on the couch. On a Monday watch some Monday night football; through the week watch movies and on a weekend watch the sports channels.” He also likes to play the Playstation and chill at the 1D lads’ houses.

x Niall’s favourite movie of all time is Grease. He’s also a fan of horror movies.

+ Niall’s dream date would be with iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove.

x Niall has a big crush on Katy Perry. He says: “Katy Perry still gets me every time. She's very funny in person! We met at the Teen Choice Awards and she pulled my cheeks apart and told me how cute I was. My life was literally flashing before my eyes!"

+ He likes natural beauties.

x Niall is notoriously noisy. Liam Payne commented: “You usually hear Niall before you see him.” 

+ He is great at mimicking accents – especially Scottish, Geordie and American ones.

x Niall thinks that not having a boyfriend or girlfriend isn’t a bad thing. He explains: “Being single doesn’t mean you’re weak, it means you’re strong enough to wait for what you deserve.”
