Horkeukamui's P.O.V.

I wake up in a sitting position which is weird because I don't typically sleep sitting up. I feel movement against my arm and look down and see Ryo. Looking around the room, I realize I told him I'd stay with him tonight. After looking around his room, I look back down at Ryo and I can't help but think about he is when he's sleeping. His head and one of his hands are on my leg and he's curled up into a ball. I smile thinking about how much he'd blush if he heard me say that. I try to not move so I don't wake him up, at least, not yet.

After sitting there petting his head for a few minutes, I hear someone knock on the door. I look up to the door, then back to Ryo. He just moves around a little bit then stops moving. I guess he's a heavy sleeper. I hear someone knock again followed by a voice.
"Ryo get up before you're late for class." Maybe it's that Shiro kid. I hear Ryo groan which the person outside the room must've heard because after that the door opens and I see Shiro standing in the doorway.
"Ryo! Get up!" After yelling at Ryo, who shoots up yelling he's awake, he looks at me. "Aren't you one of the two who was with Ryo when he got back to the school yesterday?" Well, at least he remembers meeting me.

After explaining, as vaguely as possible, why I was in here Ryo got up and started gathering up his stuff for his classes.
"Now both of you get out. I need to change." Ryo looks at me while saying that. He must think I'm going to say something. Well, he's not wrong. After he finishes talking, I smirk at him and whisper something into his ear so Shiro can't hear.
"It's not like I haven't seen you naked before." After that, his face turns bright red again like it does every time I say something that could embarrass him and he hits me with a pillow. I take a notepad and pen out of my jacket pocket as I walk out laughing. I write on the notepad,
'After you finish school at the end of the week, call Nomad and have him bring you to the mountain.' and I rip that piece of paper off of the notepad, fold it up, and hand it to Shiro.
"Do me a favor and hand this to Ryo when he comes out. Also, try being a bit more gentle with him. He seems to get hurt enough without your help." Without explaining what I mean, I turn and leave the building.

I arrive back at the guild a while later and see Nomad waiting for me.
"So, how'd last night go?" Nomad asks as I walk up to him. I guess he knew what I was planning on doing.
"It was fine. He wanted me to stay with him though which is why I was gone last night." Nomad and I continue talking as we walk into the guild. I explain how I want him to bring Ryo to the mountain after he's done with school for the week. After that, Nomad and I part ways. I head for my room in the Rankers area and he heads off to do whatever he does.

The days go by slowly. Ryo comes by every day to train with me. I fight in the arena when he and I aren't training. As the week slowly comes to an end, I leave the guild for the weekend to head to the mountain. The weekend begins tomorrow so Ryo should show up soon. When I get to my house, I go to the tree where Ryo, Nomad, Garmr, and I watched the sunrise together. I reach the tree and I see the spot where Ryo carved into the tree. I place my hand over it and smile.
"Ryo, you really are something special aren't you?" I wasn't talking to anyone in particular. I just felt like saying that I guess.

I head inside and begin cleaning the house for when Ryo arrives. After I finish cleaning, I go into the bedroom and sit on the bed. I wish Ryo was here now, I can't care for him if he's not with me and it does get kind of lonely here without him. I must've fallen asleep at some point because the next thing I know it's dark outside. As I was getting up to go make myself some food I hear a motorcycle. The only person who should know of this location that owns a motorcycle is Nomad. Why's he coming here now?

Nomad walks through the front door with someone following behind him. It was Ryo, but why was he here now?
"Ryo I thought you had school tomorrow?" I'm confused at this point because I told him to meet me here when school was done for the week.
"I did, but I guess school is out tomorrow. Shiro seemed pretty upset because he actually likes school." Well, this was definitely surprising, not that I'm complaining. I just didn't expect to see him today.

"Hey Nomad, I was just about to start cooking. Care to stay for dinner?" I look over at Nomad waiting for his answer.
"Sure why not. I don't have much going on anyway." Once he finishes talking, Ryo drags him over to the couch and makes him sit down with him. I laugh a bit because Ryo rests his back against Nomad's arm and starts talking.
"Good luck Nomad. I'll be in the kitchen. If you need me because you can't handle him, you know where to find me.

I finish cooking and bring the food out to the table. Ryo and I sit next to each other with Nomad across from us. I guess Ryo must've scared him or annoyed him more than normal. We sit there and talk about whatever while we eat. After we finish eating Nomad heads out and Ryo and I clean up. Ryo walks up behind me and hugs me from behind.
"Guess you missed me a lot more than I thought huh?" I say teasingly to Ryo. I feel him let go of me.
"Why don't you turn around and find out how much I missed you Horkeukamui." I turn around to face him and he kisses me. Before long I have Ryo up on the counter, his legs wrapped around my waist and his arms around my neck. The kiss is amazing as it is every time he and I kiss.

We stop kissing so we can breathe and he rests his head on my chest.
"I love you Horkeukamui. If you ever leave me, I don't know what I'd do without you." He's so passionate about how he feels.
"Ryo," I lift his head up gently so he's looking at me. "You're my hero and so much more to me. I will never leave you." I hold him against my chest. "Come on let's get ready for bed. You're training starts tomorrow.

I carry Ryo to our room which he doesn't complain about. I set him onto the bed and he takes off his shirt. I notice there's no bandage on him. When I look at him I notice the scar that was left on him.
"Come on Horkeukamui. Come lay down with me." Ryo says as he lays down. I smile and think about how happy he is as I get in bed with him. I lay on my back and hold him close to me as he rests his head on my chest as he usually does. I smile thinking about how lucky I am to have him.

I wake up to Ryo shaking me gently.
"Horkeukamui, come on let's go watch the sunrise together." he says in a soft voice. I look at him and notice he's not wearing any warm clothes.
"You need to put something warm on first." I don't know what he was thinking unless he has something else planned. He probably does.
"Why do I need something warm to wear when I have you." Well, he does have a good point. I do prefer it when he doesn't have a shirt on and I can easily keep him warm enough.

We get to the tree and Ryo and I climb up it and sit on the same branch we did last time. He sits in my lap with his back against my chest. I wrap my arms around him as we sit there together watching the sunrise.
"I hope you're ready to begin training Ryo." I look down at him and see him smiling up at me.
"I'm ready because I know you'll be there with me through the whole thing." He's right because I hate being without him near me.
