"scars on her skin replace kiss of the man"

I found her there, alone. she hated being alone. you could tell she cried herself to sleep that night. How could someone break her lil heart? she's so perfect. i slowly picked her up, she was shivering.
"poor baby" i whispered in her ear
i cradle her small fragile body in hopes to get her warm. why was she even out here, alone? i grabbed my keys out of my pocket and started the car. i placed her in the passenger seat and turned the car heat up. it was a silent car ride as i watched to make sure she was alright. we pulled up to my house, nobody home. aiden at a sleepover and mama with her new man. i turned the car off and opened her door. i picked her up and started walking to the door. i felt her tense up.
"j-jah?"she whimpered
"yes boo" i softly replied
i rubed her back to calm her. i felt her relax in my arms, trusting me.
"stay here tonight, luv?" i asked
she nodded her head as i carried her up to my room. the moonlight glimmerd through the window. i could see her face, she looked so sad , so numb. i haven't seen her happy in years, ever since we grew apart. i remember our moms watching us play in the sand, laughing at there jokes as the sipped coffee. i miss her so much. i layed her down under my covers and wiped the tears under her eyes.
"get sleep, luv" i whispered as i sat back up
she nodded her head yes as she got comfy under the blankets.
"i love you jah" she whispered as i walked to the door
i haven't herd those words in years. it shocked me honestly. i longed to here those words from her agian. i missed her so much.
"i love you to..." i said making slight eye contact with here beautiful face.
i shut the door behind me as a long breath i didn't know i was holding in came out. i walked to the couch and sat. i just thought for hours. nothing playing, no music, just silence. i look at the time.

i got up and slowly made my way to the bedroom. i walked in and saw her beautiful face. i looked down at her sleeping peacefully, i moved the hair out of her face and kissed her check. i tossed my shoes off and took my hoodie off. i slide into bed with her and cuddled her close. i grabbed her arms and rubbed them slightly, she felt so cold. my heart started pumping as i felt cuts all up and down her arm. the tears filled my eyes. i blinked them away and turned my lamp on. i grabbed her sleves as she starded waking up. she looked up at me and pulled away. she looked so scared.
"let me see" i demand
her eyes starded watering, i felt so bad. i grabbed her arm as she tried to pull away, but i over powerd her and pushed her sleves up. she slammed her eyes shut and mine widened. i felt a tear go down my face as i see all the fresh cuts and old scars. i rub them slightly, here flinching in pain. a tear of mine fell onto her arm and i whipped it away.
"i... i'm so sorry, luv" i cried
i had no words to say. i just wanted to protect her.
"i'm here now luv, ima protect you, i promise"
