((A/N: PaigexAJ. Don't like, don't read. I've been obsessed with this pairing for awhile so, hey, why not give it a shot! First time writing something related to girlxgirl so...hope it's alright! :) ))

Paige repeatedly clicked the end of her pen while switching her gaze from the blank notepad in front of her to the stereo across the room. She was listening to her favorite genre of music, rock, until the channels randomly switched and a latest hit single on the pop charts started to play.

''You're now listening to Iggy Azalea's newest hit, ''Beg For It'' featuring MØ.''

''Music these days,'' She let out a groan and rested her head back against the arm of the couch she was sitting on. ''Crappy music and writer's block? Great way to end the day. Could it get any worse?''

''It could if I made you beg for my attention,'' She heard a voice tease, one who was obviously referring to the song playing in the background. She jerked her head up so fast the beanie she wore slipped off, revealing her quite-messy raven-colored hat hair. Standing in the doorway was the one girl who could always make her smile, the girl she shared this one-bedroom apartment with.

Little Ms. AJ Lee.

Still in her ring gear, title belt in hand, AJ walked over to sit next to Paige, a slight skip in her step. She was smiling, but it was an innocent smile, not her usual ''I have a plan.'' grin.

''Why are you still in your ring gear, love?'' Paige asked, eyeing AJ up and down as she took a seat on the opposite side of the couch. She found her eyes repeatedly looking down at AJ's shorts, but not because the Diva's Championship belt was resting on her thigh, but because they made her look good. Definitely not because of the belt. AJ coughed and Paige looked back up into her chocolate, sparkling eyes. Those resembling an adorable little girl's eyes.

''Because you like when I wear it. That's why you asked to be in so many matches with me!'' AJ giggled, still smiling. Paige was intrigued by her girlfriend's unusual happiness but at the same time was a bit scared to ask. She looked over at the clock and noticed it was way past the usual time they both would get home from shows which pushed her to ask even more.

''Of course I do. Have you seen your butt in those shorts? I have, and I love it. I was going to ask though-'' She was interrupted by the touch of AJ's lips on hers. AJ's silky smooth lips mixed with the soft ones that were her own was a feeling Paige couldn't get enough of , which is what drove her into asking AJ out in the first place. As AJ went to deepen the kiss though, Paige pulled back. She had to figure out what had AJ so happy. She'd never seen her this happy and the fact that the reason was something that probably wasn't Paige herself pissed her off in ways she couldn't explain.

''Huh-?''

''What has you so happy?'' She blurted out in a harsh tone, quietly placing her pen and notepad on the coffee table beside them.

''What?''

''Why are you so happy? Care to explain?'' She was harsh again and quickly turned the radio off using the remote. She never spoke to her lover like this but it was the only way to get answers.

''What do you mean? I'm always happy.'' AJ gave her a look of shock with a slight hint of fear. Paige was never this aggressive unless it was in bed. AJ grinned at the thought of that, at the thought of what they would have been doing shortly if Paige hadn't stopped.

''No, you have that look on your face. Your innocent smile. Did you get a new deal or something? A promise of keeping our baby longer than your original reign and breaking it?'' They both referred to the Diva's Title as ''their baby'' so they both decided they'd just refer to it as ''our baby'' because they both agreed they'd never let anyone take it from either of them. It was theirs to pass back and forth and keep in the comfort of their own home.
