Forks, Diner
4:36 pm

Justin, sighed quietly. He missed Faith, it was a very odd thing to say about someone you just met but, it was the truth. He felt really comfortable around her, like he had known her for years and could tell her everything about him and wouldn't judge. Unlike Bella who would pretend to care and then use what he said as blackmail or would just tell him to fuck off.

The small rustic diner was quite busy, truckers passing through, small town workers getting they're dinner before going home or just the regulars who came in ordered coffee and then tried to flirt with the waitress. Justin collapsed in his seat beside his father and put his head on his shoulder sighing dramatically, as Bella who now joined the rolled her eyes at the embarrassment she had to call brother.

Charlie chuckled slightly under his breath. "Daaad it was hell!!, don't make me go back there..." Justin groaned causing his Charlie to laugh louder. "Sorry buddy but you gotta do it, or how else you gonna get in college?". "With my good looks, charms and quick wit" Justin replied now taking his head off and sticking it up high and puffing his chest out.

"I don't know if quick wit, charms and good looks are your thing pal" Charlie said taking a sip of his coffee, while Justin looked at him with his mouth and eyes wide, disbelief written all over his face as his father smirked at him.

Bella coughed loudly gaining the attention of the male swans. "So Char..Dad uh, how was your day?" She asked awkwardly. Charlie quickly lost his playful demenor as Bella spoke to him. It wasn't like he didn't want to talk to her, it's just he didn't know how to, Justin was more outgoing and layed back than she was.

"Uh..yeah..it was fine, all quite, just filling out some paper work" he said quietly, turning in on himself. After the divorce, Charlie who was one of the happiest and outgoing guys in Forks he became very quiet, awkward and very people shy. Talking with Bella was like talking to a mini Reneé for him, and that made him slightly anxious.

Thankfully for Justin, the awkwardness was lifted by the waitress, Cora, who had brought they're food, Streak for Charlie, garden burger for Bella and a cheese burger with fries for Justin. Grinning happily at Cora he thanked her. "You know I just can't get over how big you guys are, Justin I know I see you a lot but still" She cooed at the teens.

Justin who beamed at her while Bella's face held a small scowl. "When you guys are done I'll bring you your favorite, berry cobbler and a brownie Sunday, your day has it every Thursday and Friday" she smiled as Charlie turn red from embarrassment, much to Justin's amusement who was now smirking and his father like the cat who caught the canary.

"Hey Bella, Justin, you remember me?, I played Santa one year" A man said coming behind Cora. "Yeah Waylon thy haven't had a Christmas here since they were four, and you never went on the fishing trips with me and Justin". "I bet I made an impression" Waylon continued, pretending he never heard Charlie."You always do" Charlie cut in.

"Yeah butt crack Santa " Cora joked, getting a small laugh from Justin. "Hey kids love those little bottles though" Waylon continued on with the joke. "Alright Waylon lets the kids eat" Cora shoved him away before walking away herself. Leaving the three in silence. Charlie and Bella both reached for ketchup, both of them to akward to grab it, so Justin reached over the table and poured a little ketchup on his dad's plate before giving it to Bella.

Charlie smiled. "Always the peace maker huh?". Justin smile taking a bite from the burger. "With you two around I kinda have to be".
