Backstory: The Venator blood line traces back to the first Shadowhunters. It means Hunter in Latin. The Venator bloodline is a very old and respected one. They are some of the most powerful Shadowhunters every to room the earth. When Christopher turn 13-years-old his family home was attacked and everyone was slaughtered but Christopher who witnessed the slaughter first hand. He fled when the attackers tried to kill him. He ended up on the streets for 3 weeks until he met Jocelyn Fray who took him home and introduced him to her warlock best friend Dot. "Hunter" told them about his situation and Dot took him and enrolled in into Clary's middle school. He became Dot's nephew who's parents died in a car crash and Dot took into him care. He grew up with Dot and Jocelyn training to be a shadowhunter and grew up protecting Clary from the shadows.
