Secrets: Closed Book

-Chapter 8-

The guild has never been so sad, and guilty of what they've all done, especially a certain mage, who loved Lucy Heartfilia.

Some are going on jobs to help Makarov with the money, they wanted to make it up to Lucy. Everyone was indeed guilty, some tried to search her, but failed miserably. Everyone was guilty, everyone was sad, and everyone misses her.

But one mage was determined to find her, and scared to lose her, after all, she could be dead by now, and all they're doing is sulking with regret.

Natsu and Happy, were in Hargeon, they wanted tk see if they could find her there again, they wanted to start over again, but of course, all they saw was the busy streets, Natsu went on a train for nothing.

Gray and Erza decided to go to the Heartfilia Estate,after all, they also wanted to see Lucy, and check if she went there. But once again, she wasn't there.

Even though Lucy was gone, there were some changes in the guild. Levy and Gajeel started going out, Cana started to drink way more, and Makarov comes out once in a blue moon.

Fairy Tail indeed lost their light.

Lucy was sleeping soundly on her bed, she recently had just collapsed. Layla and the other dragons were having dinner, worrying about the princess, she put herself to the limit, she needed more training.

Lucy woke up and headed to the dining room. Layla smiled at her daughter and Lucy took a seat.

"For now! We shall rest! Then training will start!" Layla cheered and everyone cheered along with her.

"Can you handle better and hardwr training?" Layla looked at Lucy.

"I'll do my best in everything!" Lucy said in a determined face.

"Yeah!!!"

"Lucy"

"Mama?"

"You'll be training with me" Layla smiled at her daughter

"Really?! What'll you teach me?! A new technique!? New dragon slaying magic!? So-" Lucy was cut off.

"Haha! No, your spirits" Layla showed Lucy her keys, and a ton more new ones.

"Ugh~ Open..! Gate of the..." Lucy fell on the floor immidietly.

"I can't do this" Lucy groaned and Layla giggled at her.

"You just did 7 spirits Lucy" Layla smiled at her daughter " You still have 13 more to go"

"WHATTT!?!?!?!" Lucy looked up to her mother in disbelief.

"You heard me" Layla helped Lucy stand up.

"I think I'd collapse by the 9th one" Lucy sighed.

"Good thing I'm not a dragon" Layla smiled at Lucy.

"What do you mean?" Lucy asked.

"I wouldn't allow rests or snacks" Layla showed food amd a picnic mat.

"This is delicious mom!"

"I'm glad, the maids wanted to help me, but I said no" Layla smiled.

"You made this!?" Lucy asked in disbelief.

"Yes, I'm glad you like it" Layla continued eating.

"Now, let's train again!" Lucy said determined to finish all 20 keys.

"Go ahead, I'll keep eating"

"Okay then!"

"Open! Gate of the Winged Horse! Pegasus!" Lucy chanted, and a white with silver mane and tail, and blue eyed horse apeared.

"Wow! It's so pretty!" Lucy pet the horse.

"Hyaah!" Lucy broke a rock in half with her Lucy kick.

"Wow~" Layla examined the rock.

"Queen Layla~" a maid approached them.

"Yes?"

"A demon Zeref's books is on a rampage!" she said.

"What!? How'd it get here!?" Layla asked, and Lucy was utterly shocked.

"We have no idea! It just suddenly appeared and went on a rampage!" the maid answered.

"This is a great chance for me to fight!" Lucy grinned.

"No, this demon could be after you, you need to hide" Layla said.

"What!?"

"Please, take her somewhere safe" Layla.ordered the maid amd the maid nodded taking Lucy.

After they were out of sight, the maids grip on Lucy tightened.amd she was smirking.

"Ah-Hey!" Lucy said.

"Hello, Princess" the maid turned into a demon and.attacked Lucy.

"Ice Dragons Roar!"

"Crystal!" Lucy looked at the dragon in her human form.

"Come with me!" Crystal dragges Lucy and the demon chased them.

"Kyaaah!!"

"Dammit! Fire Dragons Roar!" Lucy chanted and a tornado of fire gushed out her mouth as she and Crystal were running.

"We're here princess!" Igneel, Metalicana, Grandine, and Aqua protected her.

"Stay here, I'll help them with the demon" Crystal ordered and went to help the other dragons.

Licy nodded and stayed where she was, while she was running she accidentaly sprained her foot. Then suddenly someone held her hands back, and it was another demon!

"He-" the demon covered her mouth, to keep her drom shouting. So Lucy kicked him amd he let go of her.

"There's another demon here!" Lucy shouted, then Crystal and Grandine rushed to her side.

"Ice Dragons Roar!"

"Sky Dragons Roar!"

"Jeez, now I can't walk nor train" Lucy sighed and stared at her sprained ankle.

"It's fine, as long you weren't badly injured or taken by the demons" Crystal smiled.

Lucy sighed and smiled "I guess you're right".

"Now, you should rest, I'll be back" Crystal said and left her room.

"Your still as weak as ever I see" a womams voice said.

"Who's there!?" Lucy asked and brought her blanket closer to her.

"Like a mere blanket would protect you! Pathetic!" the voice said.

"H-Hey! Show yourself!" Lucy shouted.

"I choose not to, we'll battle one day, Princess"
