Slowly and timidly she turns around slightly, still feeling embarrassed at her own action seconds ago.
"Talk about what?"
"You didn't give me any chance to reply. Shouldn't you hear my reply?", he curves a smile before letting out a small laugh.

Taehyung couldn't help but to find Nana looking entirely dumbfounded, adorable—her sparkly eyes squinting confusedly, her stiff shoulders as she turns to look at him. He was caught off guard, and he is still processing everything she just said. He wasn't ready for it but well, life is full of surprises.
"Nana", he calls out her name as he walks towards her, stopping a step away not wanting to make her uncomfortable. "There's something I need to clarify with you"
"Clarify?"
"I am surprised with your sudden remark. Not a lie, you caught me off guard, for real. Wasn't expecting you to drop a bomb just like that"
"Oh my god, no, I didn't mean to do that. Detective Kim I—"
"And, you are really full of surprises too"
Nana inched backward in shock, furrowed eyebrows staring at him. "S-Surprises?"

"Allow me to clarify a few things", he paused, putting on hand into the pocket of his black coat. "First, when you said that you respect me and my girlfriend, I appreciate that. Thank you for being so thoughtful. I really appreciate that kind thought"
Nana had to swallow hard at the mention of his girlfriend, realizing that it's true—he has someone and he just admitted himself. Oh lord, she never knew it's going to hurt this bad. It takes a whole lot of energy to put up a cool face, standing strong on her wobbly feet when all she wants to do it drop to the ground and scream her entire lungs out.
