"Good morning!" My sister Abilene called but I don't think it was directed to me so much as the world.
"4 am... IT'S 4 AM BILLY!" I called from the crack in my window, I could see her standing out on the step holding some tea and petting Arley her Rabbit.
"And?" She says this as if she didn't do anything wrong.
"Breakfast?" She asked and I smirk at her, she may be an annoying morning person but food is food.
"On my way." I rolled onto the floor it was cold though so I spent no time jumping up to put on my slippers, sliding down the railway of the stairs is my favourite part of living in this gigantic house.
"Faline! What have I told you about that!" Mom called from the kitchen.
"Not to?" I hugged her, me and mom are really close I tell her everything,
"Exactly." She pinches my cheeks, I smiled at her and sat at the table there was ham, bacon, eggs, fruit, yogurt, anything you can say is a breakfast food was there.
"Feeding an army?" I joked and mom rolled her eyes.
"Nope, you eat enough for two army's this is just a snack." She gave a look that showed that she new she won.
"Aya, come here hunny!" My dad called from what I assume is one of the garages.
"Coming!" Mom said as she brought food to him.
"Need a ride to school?" Billy can drive but I can't yet so she offers me a ride when she has morning classes, I'm lazy so I never turn down the offer.
"Do you need to ask?" I say sliding my red converse onto my feet.
"Forgot who I was talking to."
She laughed and grabbed her keys.

At school me and Billy parted ways, I headed over to my boyfriend Baz.
"Hey hot-stuff," I winked at him and he half grinned at me, slinging his arm over my shoulder continuing his previous conversation with his football friends. The bell rang after a few minutes and I headed to my locker than to English, I loved English, writing, reading and poetry! I say I'm my usual seat in the back of class I know I'm cliche but it's where the light from the window shines at this time of day, I got ready to start class and enjoying the warmth of the sunlight. My mom always called me cat because of my habit to find the sunlight in a room and sit in it, she said it's what her old cat did before she passed so that's how I got that nickname along with others that make less sense, like pumpkin, monkey, squirt and so on. I must have spaced out for a bit because all I remember from that class is the bell ringing signifying that class was over.
"Faline I need to see you." Mrs.Idontrememberhername called my mouth went dry for a moment before I nodded.
"Your creative writing project was the best I have seen yet this year, I'm very proud of your work in this class." She smiled putting her hand on my shoulder.
"It's a pleasure being here...Mrs." I decided not to attempt to remember her name and make her dislike me, we shared a mutual smile and I was off the get a coffee.
————————————
Walking to the coffee shop I noticed Baz walking just a bit ahead of me so I decided to scare him, I started sneaking up on him and than I noticed a girl wave at him and walk to him planting a kiss on his lips, they held hands and walked away. I was frozen standing there trying to make an excuse for him but couldn't find one, I felt my cheeks get warm and damp and knew that there were tears rolling down my face.
"H-how could he?" Was all I managed to say before running I didn't have a spot to run to in mind I just knew I needed to run, far away from. Him.
————————————
I got home after some time of soul searching, eyes aching from the tears and legs numb from the running, I opened the door and see Abilene rush to me grabbing me in a tight hug.
"Where were you? You scared us cat!" She said crying but I was numb right now and I didn't know how to explain that.
"I need a drink." I was underage but I knew that Billy would give me a bit of alcohol, she has before.
"Me too." She smile walking to the pantry. She poured some drinks and we drank I cried and she listened than we fell asleep, I woke up around an hour later still feeling the effects of the alcohol in my system. I needed fresh air so I walked outside and noticed a white cat with blue eyes sitting on the ledge of the balcony.
"Hi kitty, are you in need of fresh air too?" I asked the cat knowing I was not going to receive and answer from him. He leaped down from the stairs and looked back at me, I was still slightly drunk so I took that as he wanted me to follow, so I did. He stopped at the crosswalk and I noticed a car so I waited until it would pass me to walk across, the cat didn't and walked into the road. The cat wasn't going to move so I needed to save him, I called him but he wouldn't move from the middle of the road. I got the idea to rush over grab him and get to safety, so I took action and when I picked him up I felt the sensation that this was it, than the car hit me, And everything in the world went cold and dark.
