August

I had finally met up with everybody and everbody was just as confused as I was. I can't figure out how whoever helped is his bitch ass escape find out where David had moved him to. That let's me know that somebody had been watching fa' a lil minute. That takes me back to seeing Shonda and some man enter the ballroom. Hell was it Chandler?

"Yo Aug whatchu' thinkin' bruh?" Twan asked.

"That this shit hea' is crazy and I don't undastand it, but I rememba' seein Shonda earlier tonight, she was walkin' in wit some nigga at tha' charity ball."

"Who the hell is Shonda?" David asked

"Some lil thot that I got head from. She was everybody's lil thot."

"Shit she wasn't mines." Twan blurted out.

I turned around and staled faced Twan because now wasn't the time fa' that. It's crazy ass niggas running around hea' doing the most shit and I gotta figure out what the hell is going on.

"Aye yo Big T, what tha' hell was you doin' fa' that nigga to escape?" I asked as I pulled on my chin hairs.

"Shit I heard a loud bang come from the lower level and I pulled out my glock going to check it out. I didn't think it was no way for him to escape, that is until I came back and he was gone."

"FUCK!" This was a setup! Shit Desire...

I ran out the door and I could hea them yelling at me about what was wrong and whea' was I going.

"Man we gotta get to Desire. I got a feelin' this was tha' whole plot to get me outta of the thea."

We all hopped tha' Escalade and sped back to the Ritz. A nigga was prayin' like hell that Desire was alright. No sooner than that thought ran across my mind I heard David's phone ring. He looked at the screen and answered.

"Renee calm down, I can't hear a word that you are saying."

"DAVID YOU NEED TO GET TO ATLANTA MEDICAL FAST! It's Desire she has been hurt badly." Renee screamed and cried into the phone.

"Oh dear God! We are on our way right now!"

"Big T head to Atlanta Medical." David said as his body shook as tears fell from his eyes.

I knew then without asking, somebody had got to Desire..I feel like this shit all my fault. I should have told her what the hell was going on when everything popped off, but now shit has gone too far and now Yung about to murk somebody....

Nedra

When I got a call from the hospital telling me to get there, I had no idea that it was because Desire was hurt. I was so emotionally distraught. I couldn't think straight. She has been through so much in such a short time and through it all August has been there. It's like no one wants to see her and Aug happy. I get the feeling that this has been brewing every since that shit popped off with Chandler.

I looked over at her mother and I could see guilt, pain, regret and also fear in her eyes. That tells me that her mother had gotten caught up in this shit and it is only gonna make this situation that much more complicated. All these damn secrets, plots and lies is causing innocent people to get hurt, people that are caught up in something they know nothing about.

"Nedra this shit is all my fault. My past has come back to bite me. I did so much under handed shit, not thinking about the outcome and now my daugther is yet again fighting for her life because of my secrets and lies. I started this shit and now it looks like because things are not going in the direction that people want it, they are trying to prove to me that this is not a game."

I narrowed my eyes at her and looked at her like she was an alien from another planet. I know like hell she didn't say because of her she is laying in that hospital bed. I try my hardest to respect my elder's but she is making it difficult with her bullshit.

"What the hell do you mean because of you?" I walked closer to her and watched as tears fell from her eyes.

"Nedra I can't get into it right now, bu-"

"You can't or is that you won't? Who are you protecting cause it sure ain't your daughter, if it was she wouldn't be laid up in the hospital for a second time in less than two months."

It was about to get heated, but God must have known I was about to lose it because Twan and the crew came through the doors.

"Where is Desire, have ya heard anythang?" August asked. He looked so hurt and lost. He loved Desire so much and it's like he can't catch a break.

I walked over to August and extended my arms. He reached out and hugged me back so tightly. I looked over his shoulder at Renee and I wanted to choke the shit out of her ignorant ass. David walked over to her and embraced her. I felt so bad for him because he really didn't know his wife like he thought he did.

A few seconds later Dr. Richmond came out."

"Monroe Family."

We walked over to him and I could tell from the look on his face it wasn't gonna be good news at all.

"I'm Dr. Richmond and I have been working with Ms. Monroe for the last forty-five minutes." He looked at all of our faces.

"Look man can you just tell meh how my girl is doin' and quit bullshittin." August demanded

"She is in a coma due to loosing a lot of blood. She has bruising a swelling in her face as well as broken nose and jaw. One of her eyes are swollen shut. Whoever raped her used a condom because there was no semen found, but we were able to determine it was forced entry." He paused and looked down.

"Um I need to speak to Mr. Alsina in private." Dr. Richmond said.

We all looked confused because we couldn't understand why, but we stepped away and watched as they walked down the hall. I just prayed that it was nothing more added on to what we just heard.

August

I felt like a zombie walking with Dr. Richmond. All the shit he had just told me had me ready to commit a murder that I wouldn't be sorry fa.' We walked a good distance and stopped. There was a moment of silence, which was gettin' on my damn nerves.

"Man what's goin' on. I kno' you didn't bring me all tha' way down this hall ta' be silent and look at me."

"Mr. Alsina I don't know how to tell you this, but she was pregnant, four weeks to be exact. I'm so sorry, but she lost the baby." He reached up and squeezed my shoulder.

"Pregnant...lost tha' baby..."

This was just a lil filler until later!
