Sweet as sugar, as warm as a summer day, as beautiful as a sunset or night time stars, and as green as the prettiest emerald. Just how Ashton would describe Michael. Perfection. Honestly, it was the only way he knew how to describe the other.

Insanity, unease, and peace. Maybe Michael drove him crazy, drove him to the brink of insanity every day, but his smile alone could bring him back down to reality. Makes him remember the good in the world with a single word, but could also shatter his heart with one lone word if he wished to do so. The honey blonde had unwillingly given Michael so much power and it scared him, terrified of what this addiction would do to him.
Insecure, beautiful, loved, happy.  Those were just some of the things Michael could make the man feel. One day without feeding his deadly addiction, one day without his sweet Michael would send Ashton into a frenzy. It could send him crazy. Hazel eyes would dilate with rage, jaw would lock, and sweet words changed into harsh insults only understood by the devil. Of course, only Michael could calm him down.

Michael loved the older boy so much. Probably too much to be healthy, almost loving Ashton as Ashton loved him. Almost- Ashton's love wasn't just love, it was an addiction. A passion. Something he couldn't live without.

Everyone the honey blonde knew was concerned, knowing the trip to Sydney that Michael was making was going to leave Ashton devastated. Even when Michael would only be gone for three days, everybody knew the older would go insane.
After almost begging Michael not to go, he knew he had to accept that he'd be without the love of his life for three whole days.

He was so scared to be without Michael. Scared of himself, scared of how he would act without his anchor.
