The Heavy Heart

colder and colder it got

as she tunneled deeper ad deeper into the darkness surrounding her

Heavier and heavier it got

as she despised what she had done

meaner and meaner it got

as she ran, hiding from the light

sadder and sadder it got

as the river flowed, full of her falling tears

Guiltier and guiltier it got

As her hands became painted red with the blood of her fallen friends

Anger ran red hot through her veins

as she looked into the eyes of her betrayer

she would stain her hands with one final kill

frantically she lunged for the one who had caused this

the mirror shattered and littered the floor with broken shards

blood ran down her knuckles but she didn't feel the pain

carefully she picked up a broken piece of mirror

It was all her fault

With a heavy heart she made it so she could never hurt anyone again

and in death

she found peace
