Wince

It was a hot Sunday afternoon when Wince woke up from his slumber. "Wonder what today will bring" he said looking over to his alarm clock. "OH SHOOT I HADN'T RELEASED THE TIME". Wince ran from his room into a large hallway filled with pantings of his relatives. Once he reached the other side of the hall, his mother greeted him with a letter. The letter had emerald green writing on it with their address and Wince's name. "3654 Richall lane Mc.Hugons England house of Wince Shield". (Not an actual place just needed it for the book) Wince was confused at first because no one ever sent him post. "Are you playing tricks on me mum?" he said questionably. "No" his mother sharply replied. Wince saw that on the front was a crest with four animals on it. The top left was a lion and beside the lion was a snake. The bottom left displayed a badger and to the right of the badger was a raven. Wince had no clue of what the crest meat but, he opened the letter without hesitation. Inside was a pice if parchment with a message that read "Mr. Wince we would love for you to come study at one of the highest, best ranked, and most protected wizarding school, HOGWARTS. Wince look at his mom then looked down at the letter again to see another address for Diagon Alley. "Mum you can tell me it's a joke now I'm waiting" said Wince now irritated. "IM NOT PLAYING TRICKS ON YOU YOU THICK HEADED, DUMB WITTED, IDIOTIC LITTLE BOY" yelled his mom. Wince was used to this by now. His mom had been struggling with anger issues since Wince's dad left.

MEANWHILE

Myrtle

A girl was sitting down on a lovely bench eating lunch. The weather was impeccable compared to other places. The sun was out, it wasn't to hot nor cold, birds were singing, flowers were blooming, but on days like these, Myrtle was crying. Myrtle would always cry on days like these because the neighborhood bullies would come and make fun of her for wearing glasses. The bullies called her names like Four Eyes, Blind Bat, and Spider eyes. Myrtle knew that this would happen every time the weather was like this, but she always went out because she believed that people could change. Myrtle was now heading home with tears in her eyes. Her mom didn't really care for her so when she busted in the house crying she didn't care. Myrtle felt worse because she didn't have anyone to talk to. She didn't have anyone to love. Little did she know that she would soon me a friend that would stay with her forever.
