I know it's shitty. Just roll with it. :(
--------------------------------------------

I tried my best to ignore it. I really tried. But hearing my mother's screaming for 16 years? Fuck no. Not anymore.

I stood up where i was sitting, my room's floor where i scribble some drawings on, and took off my headphones.

I listened them from my door; my dad was yelling about some bullshit, and my mom couldn't take any of that.

These fights weren't new, my mom's a real fighter, she can't take any bullshit this man says and does, so the fights always ends in him slapping her, then a crying session.

You know what's the worst part is? He acts like nothing happened five minutes ago.

This time tho, I was going to intervene this shit.

So I opened my door, readied myself for another day of bullshit fight.

Then I heard a slap. And someone crashing on the ground.

"You worthless piece of shit. Get up!" He yelled. I ran over my mom to get her up. Her nose was bleeding.

"It's-It's okay baby. It'll stop in a minute." She said.

I got up to help her to go to bathroom, wash her face. Before I even turn my face to him, he grabbed me by my collar.

"You're as miserable as her. Piece of shit. She knows she had to be punished." He yelled and slapped me. "How am I supposed to discipline her if you keep interrupting me?" He yelled and yelled. I saw my mom trying to sneak to the bathroom.

He punched me this time. I fell on the floor but he got on me. My vision blurred for a second, and my nose hurt so much i could feel tears coming out of my eyes. He punched me again. And again.

There was no use of trying to stop him. He was bigger, stronger and he could punch my face so bad.

Still, I tried to cover myself with my arms. That was the last drop.

"I see I couldn't discipline you enough." He stopped and  straightened up. His hands found their way to his belt. This could end with two ways, i just hoped for the best one.

My name's Daniel Jonathan, and this is the story of... how I fuck my life over and over and over again.
