CHAPTER TWENTY:— A man in funeral and A man of stone heart.

Sooyoung stood in disgrace near corner from where she could see her son laying in peace above soft pillowy surface in open lidded wooden coffin.
She dragged herself more in corner to avoid that view.
Everyone dressed in black stood in church mourning for loss. Taehyung holded Jin all time as he had a terrored stillness on face which wasn’t giving a little change for once.
Jin accustomed himself during whole time to give quick glances to Namjoon who was maybe trying his best to hold the urge of throwing his grace, break things and scream loudly.

There Jin’s eyes laid on man who was very unfamiliar. He didn’t showed any sign of dreary or pity on his pale face. And suddenly mystery man detected a pair of eyes on him so he quickly locked eyes with Jin—Who turned away.
After seconds Jin eyed at the exact spot where that man was, but he was gone. Vanished in seconds like phantom. That mysterious man was never seen whole time when Jin tried to find him through eyes.

Namjoon nodded his head slowly as people came with mouth tugged down to tap his shoulder, hug him, give him some useless couraging words.
He went and stood beside Jin and Taehyung.  “Hyung you did write letter to mother?” Namjoon nodded and both brother sighed in unison on thought that mother shall be devastated on this news. What will break her more is that she couldn't attend funeral. Couldn't give a last goodbye to Son-in-law.

“Only five months marriage and this terrible thing happened. I think Hoseok’s fate took turn after marrying. This marriage was bad omen to him.”
Namjoon heard a women's slow whisper from behind with another one humming in agreement.

   His eyes glistened.

“People say when some dies and lays in coffin, they look so peaceful. But I can still see pain on his countenance.”
Taehyung spoke making Jin gulp in profuse remorse and Namjoon’s heart more heavy.

Namjoon felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Jeon Jungkook all in black suit with apologetic eyes. Taehyung gave a tight lip smile to him, and got the exact one in return.
Namjoon hugged him feeling to burst out when Jungkook gently patted his back. Jungkook was always gentle and chooseful of words and actions which made him different and could make people soft. He could easily see through people’s eyes and could name the emotion hiding inside. That’s why he had hope that Jin still loves him, because he still saw that old tenderness hiding in those doe eyes.

Jungkook and Jin locked eyes for good seconds and turned away with Jungkook taking Namjoon away in corner who was today in different yet dreary aura.

Time came when Hoseok’s coffin was buried. Graveyard has souless, grayish aura. Which dried trees covering the area.
Sooyoung crying for one last glance, again. Jin wailed in Taehyung’s arms clutching his suit tightly, wetting his shoulder. Taehyung holded him whispering something in his ears.

Jungkook stared at them from far sighing loudly later shifting his eyes back to Namjoon who has cold stoned face.

A white marble cross was set on grave. Namjoon stared at carving writtens on tombstone.

“How terrible is it to love somthing that death can touch.”

He muttered those exact words in inaudible sound.

A letter by Someone who is profusely remorsing.

Stone cold. I was always told. To be so much deep in work, I never imagined to marry. Then you came a sunshine peeking from dark thick curtains. A beautiful rays. Your smile, your gentle words, touchs, bloomed something inside me. But it is always said ‘no value and appreciation to what we have. Only to what others have.’ I never saw you as blessing that you really are. I fought with you, broke your heart everyday. stealing away your brilliant smile. Indeed I'm. A bad omen to you. You suffered after marriage. And I'm all at your feet to agree that I was a void into your happiness. A dreary aura to your bright.

I’m so much at fault Hoseok. When last I quarreled with you, I felt an urge to hug you and apologize. My mere ego stopped me. But the love I felt for you made me come back and share my feelings with you. But you were gone.

Did you committed suicide? Or was it an accident? If its suicide than God let me go through all punishments for committing sins.

If I could turn back time. I would give you all love and affection. Take away your sorrows and your tears. No pain only bliss. To say ‘I love you’ everyday. To feel blessed and make love with you. Have children and die old together. Only when I could turn back time.

I was so much in work that I never gave you time, love. And be in your embrace. But just regrets left to break my heart to Die.

I can’t live without you. I can’t live in this house where I saw you dying. I’m leaving this house, This wealth, this comfort which is working as thorns right now. I’ll go somewhere far away in hope that I can forget you. Will I be able to? Will my heart be able to forget the one because of whom it beats?

I'll go for good and to live for punishment of killing a beautiful angel.

— Namjoon.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Namjoon walked away in still night with heavy shoulders and no hope on where to go and no hope of future. Just trusting his feet and his broken heart.

On the other side Taehyung was staring intensly without blinking, chiseled face stoned—when Jin told him everything that happened to Hoseok. How the accident was caused by him.

Jin was feeling his heart wrenching on keeping such big secret from everyone. His conscience was forcing him to share this with his partner.
And right now only Taehyung was one he can trust and share this with. So even though stuttering because of heavy gaze he spoke his heart out.

After speaking Jin waited for Taehyung to speak while his gaze down. He had little hope that Taehyung might not see him at fault in this.
But his hope broke and tear rolled down from his eyes—when Tae stood from rocking chair and walked away slamming the door behind. Leaving Jin behind who was crying slowly muttering apologies.
