Taehyun ran through the forest, once again being chased by the barrier guardians. He transformed into a cat as the guardians transformed into dogs. Panting, Taehyun ran up a treeand the guard dogs ran back to the barrier thinking they'd lost him
How stupid are they? Its like dumb and dumber he thought as he transformed back to human and went to his village.
"Kang Taehyun!" his mom yelled "Yeah mom?" he looked down, feeling his mothers fiery stare "What did I say?" "That I can't run off anymore.." his mom glared at him "And why do you have that rule?" Taehyun fiddled with his thumbs as his ears drooped "So nothing happens to me because it would be bad.." his mom lifted his head "Come with me Taehyun, I will show you the history of the chiefs, so that you may become a great leader. Taehyun nodded and didn't say anything.
He didn't really want to be leader...
His mother told him about all the great cheifs and what they did. His mother got to Taehyuns dad and she choked up a little. She really missed him but she was okay because she had Taehyun. She explained what he did with her voice only breaking slightly more when she told him how he had died. She started sobbing and Taehyun hugged her "It'll be okay mom. You still have me right?" she smiled through the tears "Of course dear" she kissed his forehead and told him to run along. She stared at the picture of her husband and said out loud "He's just like you." she smiled sadly and went back to the castle. Taehyun hid behind a tree not far from the barrier dumb and dumber are gone. Finally. He spotted someone.
