"Why does Rian have a bruise on his cheek" Jake chuckles while staring Chloe expecting an answer.
My pain is a joke to him, how rude.

"Called me a mad woman, he did!" Chloe whines like a baby while I roll my eyes.
"Keep rolling your eyes and you might find a brain somewhere back there!"Chloe snickers at her "so original insult".

"Bro, Mom says-?" Me and the other two look towards the door, a tall muscular man, tan and blonde glossy hair with blue eyes...eh not my type.
I feel a sharp pain on my forearm and quickly turn to see who the hell was daring to- okay it's just Chloe.

Jake and "His bro" talk quietly to each other discussing what ever it is, so I look at Chloe searching for the answering of why she is pinching me with her crab nails.
"Chloe what the heck!, my arm my poor arm! I'm gonna die!" I whisper over-dramatically.
"Rian whose that whose he whose whose whose whose" Chloe repeats, annoyingly.

"I'm guessing that's the bro you wanted to impress is it not?" She looks at me then at Jake's brother.She looks at me again and whispers "I think I found my mate....again." I look at Chloe wide eyed.Chloe's first mate died just after a month of them meeting, there was a surprise rogue attack and she was cornered until her first mate, Oliver, tackled them all and killed them but soon more rogues saw what was happening to their allies so they went after him, killed him, and quickly left knowing they had no chance of killing anyone else.

This happened two years ago when I was 19 and Chloe 20, she cried for months but wolves don't die when their mate rejects/dies, Chloe just felt empty but until a couple months ago she felt more...happy.
I'm guessing because moon goddess blessed her with Jake's brother but she never met until now because Jake told us he's older bro was in the human army but now he must of came back to the pack territory to serve here.

Jake's brother started to smell the air, smelling his mate's, Chloe's, smell. Please don't make this awkward for me man... I don't wanna be stuck in a weird love moment.Jake's brother looks straight past me and looks at Chloe and looks down at her clutching my arm. Oh wait-

I hear a low growl and I'm suddenly pushed onto the floor. " The hell?!" I shout, what's with this person.
I look up to the person who shoved me and see an yellow eyed angry brother of Jake's and see Jake in the corner surprised as me.

I look over to Chloe whose in a crushing hug,
"Dude what the heck? Hello?" I mutter annoyed,
This dude has the nerve to push me onto the floor!

Jake's brother turns his head slowly to me, creepy.
"My name isn't dude it's Eugene, and lay a hand on my mate again I swear to the moon goddess I'll-"
I burst out laughing, this dude thinks I have the hoots for Chloe?

"Sorry EUGENE, I take it up the backside rather than give it, I'm already mated that lady is my friend you fool" I laugh but making sure I slowly say Eugene to annoy him.
"Oh! Sorry I-I thought, you see..." Eugene stutters. I hear chuckling next to Eugene and see Chloe laughing to herself. "You're both muppets and Hello Eugene, I'm Chloe" she smiles and walks inside probably to greet Helena

"Beautiful" Eugene whispers to himself and follows after her like a lost puppy.

"God, now this is embarrassing, here let me help you up" Jake mutters and grabs my hand to pull me up, which I am very grateful. "Sorry about Eugene, I guess him and his wolf was excited a little too much not to notice the gayness the radiates off you" Jake laughs at his own joke.

"Eh I guess his gaydar isn't in the greatest model at the moment, but hey how's Helena?" I question, since Helena is pregnant Jake hasn't been partying with his friends recently, he's more mature now... how weird.

"Oh she's great and I'm actually excited, years ago I thought finding my mate and settling down would be so annoying and just dampen my life with..annoyance, I thought wrong it's so great and awh man have you seen her sure she's blooming and all but but but she looks great and and and-.." Jake suddenly stops nervous.

"Take a breather dude, I haven't seen her yet but she probably looks great like you said." I smile, what a nervous guy he's only like when he talks about something he likes. I wonder if he stutters when he is nervous in "bed" haha awkward.

"Right!, come in we got food, lucky you feed food and entertainment." Jake smirks and turns around walking inside while putting up his hand in a motion to follow him.

"Free food yes, entertainment? Please that would you turning on the tv watching football." I snicker and nudge his shoulder. He rolls his eyes and smiles lightly.

"Exactly" he laughs and grins when he sees Helena chatting with Chloe and a dazed Eugene staring intensely at Chloe.
