Pt 12: The night before the wedding.

Let's begin...

It was the Mehendi and Sangeet

A girls was applying mehendi on Ragini's hands.
But she was sad as Sanskar didn't come there.and she directly can't ask Lata about him.
And if she ask any of her family members they would tease her.

While here Sanskar was hiding behind the jeep.he was fully sweating.
Mihika notices a blood in his arm:sir..
Sanskar takes up deep breath:this is not the time to look for the pain or wound Mihika.we just have to catch the Master mind behind the organ trafficking.and now the Girls trafficking.
Mihika nods.

It was an old closed factory where this crime was going on but by some informer's they got to know about the work going on here.
Sanskar sneakily looks around found the surrounding calm.he quickly moves.

Here the function finishes...
Every of the guests leaves.
Ragini move into the room and she was feeling disturbed and prayed within herself:God please let any unusual happed.i am not feeling good.

And here Sanskar enters inside the factory.which was fully dark.
Holding the gun he takes the step forward.in darkness he could see a figure moving out in the backdoor when he moves suddenly someone held his neck and pulled him back but soon he heard the loud noise and he got freed he turns and finds Mihikaa behind who have hit the the guy with back of head by the Gun.Mihika frees the girl who was in their hostage.
And sanskar quickly moves out.joined by laksh.
They chased the jeep which was just started up with speed.

But laksh stops when sanskar stood at a point and aimed the wheel.and he shoots.
Which lost the balance.

When they reach the jeep only to find the goon's dead and the one was about consume the poison which was stopped by laksh.
Sanskar just punched the jeep in frustration that again they lost him.he is again free.
He closed his eyes and stops laksh was punching the goon and enquiring him about their boss.

After sometime..
It was the deep night Ragini was moving outside her home as she was not getting the sleep and she thought to walk.it was dark but some extent street lights were in help too.she was lost in some thoughts.
Tomorrow it was her wedding.it was just 19 hours remaining for her wedding.everyone of her family are tired and all are in deep sleep.

Suddenly she stopped as she got a vibe of someone standing behind her.
She was scared and turns slowly but doesn't find anyone.
She left out a breath.
Ragini:tu bhi na aise hi darr jaati hai.
But soon smiles:what can be more scary than marrying the ACP?
She sits :oh God why don't i get sleep.at least give me something for the time pass.in tv also crime patrol crime story saavdhaan India going on.
She opens her mobile and play angry birds.
She again felt someone watching her.

Ragini looks around but continues to play.
And then a drunkard comes that way.
Who saw her.but got scared as her hair was covering her face and sound of angry birds were scaring him:bhooth..bhooth.
Ragini quickly gets scared and starts to run his way but he get scared and runs.
She stops:oye ghosts doesn't exist.

This times she felt someone right behind her.
Ragini gets scared and turns bending her head and finds a pair of shoes.
She was about to run and she felt her captured:ghost leave me or else i will kill you!
Voice:eh?how would you kill the ghost?
She looks at the person behind the voice it was dark she couldn't see his face.
Ragini cries without the tears:why?when i have to cry i don't get tears??why?
And he bursts into laughter.
She shrinks her eyes and tries to see his face. She on's her mobile and sees him:sir?
Sanskar who was laughing:what are you doing at this night?
Ragini relieved:it was you?
She move back.
Sanskar:no it was the ghost whom you got so scared off!

Ragini:ghost on sir's disguise?
Sanskar:yes!
Ragini's face turned scared: I shouldn't have come out only.
She was about run.
Sanskar held her arms:to be Mrs ACP got scared this soon?
Ragini mentally slaps for her move she thought him to be ghost.

Ragini:i don't get scared it was that i was jogging.so don't disturb!
Sanskar:jogging at this night?did you see the time?
Ragini: it's 1:45 only!
Sanskar imitates her:1:45 only..like it's the noon.
He hit her head lightly: don't you get scared?what if something happened?
Ragini rubbing her head:what will happen?
Sanskar: it's not safe don't you have that much of common sense.
Ragini looks around:and what is that common sense?
Sanskar face-palms and then faces her: I didn't knew i should be careful of this too...
Ragini opens the bag:pepper spray.
She gives it to him.
He sees it.
Ragini:just 2 days back i bought new one.
Sanskar:this one i can never forget.
She takes out a paper.
Sanskar:what is this?
Ragini:Sand!
Sanskar just nods.
Ragini takes out a comb:guess what is this?
Sanskar smiles: I don't think this is Punching gloves?
Ragini twists her lips ignoring him:this is a knife.
She pulls the comb revealing it to be knife.
He sees it checking it's sharpness and curves his lip down being impressed.

Sanskar:aur kya kya bacha hai?
Ragini thinks and puts her hand in bag:oops i forgot..i had a chilli powder and chains.
Sanskar:between why are you out of the house?
Ragini:i told na jogging.and what are you doing at this night?
Sanskar: actually all the guests told me that bride was missing me so thought to come and check if bride is really missing me?but here...
Ragini:no no i was not missing you.why will i miss you?
Sanskar:but the guests were telling that.i am not saying it.
Ragini:they were lying?
Sanskar:really?
Ragini:Sach mein I didn't miss you.
Sanskar:but i have proof.
He walks forward and she follows him:what what proof?

Sanskar:the proof which clearly saying how you were missing me.
Ragini: I don't believe you.
Sanskar:i had left detective behind you.
Ragini:this is a lie
Sanskar:why would i lie?what is in it?you were not missing or missing me after all just some hours.
Ragini:17 hours 44 minutes and (she sees her phone counting the the seconds)31 seconds.
Sanskar:so what isn't it?
Ragini: actually you know.. I didn't miss you but thought why didn't you came?i clearly couldn't ask anyone about it too.because everyone would tease me.
He controls his smile.though how much crazy she is..though how much she lies to cover a lie...though how she tries to ignore him like she isn't interested to tell him truth. but ends up saying truth to him.and now he know the key to reach her truth.which he would definitely need for future.isn't it?

He looks at her:now go home and sleep.
Ragini:Your home or my home?
He gave her a look:if i say my home would you come?
Ragini immediately runs to her home being scared:sorry my home.
But suddenly stops as now she could clearly see him due to the light.
And comes back to him:yeh jacket.
He reacted as if nothing important.

On the engagement day Ragini kept a gift in his car.which is the brown leather jacket.
And she touch his arm:Aww..you wear it for me?
Sanskar:what..??for you...why..
But he winces.Ragini looks at him confused and sees the part of arms she is holding:what happened?
Sanskar:nothing now you go in?
Ragini to check in she presses again and he winces.
Ragini:So Bad ACP sir you say you can catch lies in minutes but yourself don't know to lie..
Sanskar:now go in.. tomorrow morning is the haldi remember?
Ragini: haldi?? If groom go to hospital then what haldi?
He gave her a look.
Ragini:what happened you can tell me?
Sanskar:are you a doctor?
Ragini:a kind of...
Sanskar: it's a cut happened due to knife...um by...
He was thinking what to lie.of course he didn't wanted to let her know about his mission.
Ragini:wait...i will come now
She moves in...
He smiles..

And she returns with a box:this is having a medicine..
Sanskar:you are seriously a doctor?
Ragini:enough...
Sanskar:what is this?
Ragini: it's a sort of medicine made from turmeric apply it (and gives him a tablet)this is a pain killer have it and tomorrow consult doctor.i mean show it to Lata aunty.
Sanskar:okay madam.
Ragini:and good night. drive safe.
He smiles and moves to his car.

Sanskar:you move inside.i don't want to see dark circles in my bride.
Ragini didn't understand what he said for a moment and then she realises.
She looks at him.he blink his eyes and smiles.
Sanskar:now go inside and lock the doors.
She moves inside and locks the door.and after that he drives.
