Chapter 1. Joining the BSAA

It has been exactly three months from when your best friend Piers has died.
You are still heartbroken but that's life, nothing to do with it. Then you realized, that Piers has told you that one sentence before he has left you. "Y/N, if I'll die during this mission, join the BSAA and ask Chris for something, that I have left you." He said as his hazel eyes locked on your E/C eyes.
"Don't say that, please?" You said tearing up, as the thought of your best friend dying stuck up in your head.
"I won't, I promise." He said as he hugged you tightly before leaving.
And that's the last thing you've heard from him.

     It is a new day, a day that you're gonna join the BSAA.
You have gotten up from your bed, getting ready for your big day. You went up to your mirror, did your hair and put on a dark blue shirt, some black sweatpants, and a grey jacket Piers gave you before death, to be honest. As you made your way to the front door, you notice your dog Floof (sorry, can't think of something creative) walking up to you. "Don't worry floof, your momma Y/N is going to be back!" You smile at him, petting his head. Finally, as you leave your house, you make your way to your car. On your way to the camp, where Chris Redfield is staying for his new mission, you kept asking yourself "Who is Chris?", but never could answer it. " Finally, Is this it?" You asked yourself as your E/C looked at tents. When you've stepped out of your car, you went straight to the tents. Unfortunately, two soldiers stopped you. "Sorry ma'am, but this is a private area and you may not enter." The smaller soldier said.
"I have to talk to Chris Redfield, it's about Pierson Nivans." You stormed.
The two soldiers froze until one of them asked: What's your reason?"
"He's my best friend, he told me to talk to Chris about something." You mumbled looking at the tents with your E/C eyes. "Follow us." The taller soldier said. When you got to the biggest tents one of the soldiers said: "Go in." and so you did. When you stepped in the tent, you saw a muscular man doing some paperwork surely not even noticing you. "Ehm" you looked at the man. The man looked up and said with a cold tone "And who are you supposed to be? Don't you know this is private property?" You got a little scared by his cold expression and tone but you won't back now. "I am here because of Piers-" "Leave, now." The man shouted. "Alright big man, what about listening to me with your ears, not muscles?" You shout back.
"Why, you are no one here." He says with the same cold tone.
"I am Y/N, Piers best friend, he told me to talk to Chris Redfield about something before he left." You said with a slight smirk because the man can't turn you down now.
"I am Chris Redfield." He says, but not with a cold tone anymore, it was more surprised. "Well, Piers told me he left you something to give me" you continue.
"Ah, so you are that girl he was talking about." He says standing up from his chair, shuffling through some stuff.
"Here, also, I know you want to join my team, but you've gotta prove yourself first." He says, giving you a small box. "How do you know?" You say in confusion. "He has told me already." He says leaving you confused. "Come here again tomorrow," He says, getting back to his chair.
After getting back home, you run to your bed, as if your life depends on it.
You sit on your bed opening the box.
You look in the box and you're in shock. There are some keys and a smaller box, and a note next to it.
You open it and tears begin to drop down from your eyes. "Hey, Y/N, if you're reading this, then I might be dead, and I'm sorry for failing you, protecting you. Try opening the box, and you'll see what I have left for you." You read as you calmed down.
You pick one of the keys and try open the box, but failed. You try the second key but sadly failed too. You try the last key, but no luck. "What does that mean," you think. Shortly after, you notice, it was a puzzle. You search the paper and find a way to put the keys in. There are three hidden keyholes, you, fortunately, manage to find them and open the smaller box. You we're left with nothing, but confusion, again. There is an injection with some weird red jelly (this is from re5, not 6 sorry!) looking type thing in it. Another note is placed next to it. "Sorry that I had to make a puzzle out of it, I know Chris damn well and I know he will try to snoop." You chuckled to the note, but your chuckle stops when you read the next line.
"This is a virus, a virus that can help you find me, I reduced the symptoms of it, so you won't turn into a monster like me, what I need you to do, is to inject yourself with it." Your breath stops. How does he know that it's a virus? Then you snap, a virus that Albert Wesker made. If this is a choice of meeting Piers again, you're gonna take it. You take the injection and inject yourself in the arm. Your stomach begins to badly hurt, you drop to the ground, coughing blood.
You know that you might die, but did Piers want this? You can't take the pain anymore, your whole body is hurting, your limbs are failing you.
"I can't take it!" you thought and you proceed to pass out on the floor from the pain.
Is this what he wanted?

Anyway don't ask me why I'm doing this in 2020 just don't, I just feel the real ending Piers got is not what he deserves.
