Chapter 4: Break In

Also also, I've kinda fell out of the fandom but im determined to finish this fic lmaolmao.

You step out of the car, loading your gun.
You look around yourself, wondering if this all is real, or just a dream, are you really gonna save your best friend, who is apparently dead for who knows how long.
You finnaly spot the building.
"It's time to die." you mumble to yourself.
For more protection, you put a Bulletproof vest on yourself, feeling a little bit heavier than you've thought.
You go straight to the building, noticing a weird hole in the ground.
You thought to yourself it was weird. You open your map trying to find the position of the canal when you soon realize that it was a canal leading straight to the place right next to the cells, but why is it so huge?
You decide to not think about it, And just jump in there.
You grabbed your flash light, doing what you have thought you'll never do in your life.
You look down at it, seeing it's not that big for you to die, you prepare yourself, and jump.
Lucky for you, you fell on your legs with a hard thud.
You look around yourself, your E/C eyes slowly getting used to the darkness. You turn on your flashlight and begin walking down the long path leading to a ladder.
"A ladder?" You ask yourself, checking out the rusty, yet trustworthy exit that can possibly take you to the location of your best friend.
You begin climbing the long ladder, watching as the way out behind you is slowly shrinking.
Once you've reached the end you begin to notice how much darker the place is compared to the canal.
You take a look around noticing  how dirty the walls are.
You come across a door, opening it slighty, revealing a hideous look of corpses behind it. You gasp, trembling, wanting to close the door, but you'll soon notice another door with a name tag "umbrella cells". You take a deep breath and run towards it, trying to open it but no luck. "Damn it!" You mumble in stress, knowing there's no other way but to kick the door down.
You position yourself so that you are close enough to the door sprinting towards it and kicking into it. To your luck, the door easily broke down. You quickly recover from the pain the door gave you and start looking around. Nothing but emty cells...unless?? You hear faint mubling as you walk by. "What's that?" You wonder. As you walk closer towards the mumbling you could faintly hear not one, but two voices talking.
"He's one of our top specimins!" The voice laughed.
"We should test out the upgraded version of Uroboros" the other voice added. (YES IM STILL STUCK IN RE5 SLAY ME)
"Who could they be talking about?"
"Are they dangerous?"
"What is Uroboros?"
All these questions rumbled through your head like an endless storm.
You keep on getting closer and closer, hearing more clearly now.
"We should do it tommorow Albie." The now femine voice chuckles. (Yes I know I know slay).
"You're right, the test won't be successful if the rat is exhausted, let's go." A male voice replied.
You begin to feel sick. "R-rat, Albie, Uroboros?" "What are they talking about?" You question yourself breathing heavily, maybe people do tell you that you're one of the bravest souls in the town, but this was certainly too much to handle.
"No. I can't back out now, I'm saving a life here goddamnit." You groan getting closer to the now slowly disappearing voices.
You come up to a pair of huge doors with a slightly different name tag "Umbrella laboratory." You look around the door, noticing a keycard scanner. "Shit!" You think to yourself, knowing there's no other way in, but then you remember the corpses, what if one of them has a keycard to open the doors?
As much as you didn't like the idea, defeated, you go on your now new mission to search the corpses. After some while of searching you fortnutely find it in one of the corpses hand. You storm out of the room, knowing if you're gonna stay there longer, you might as well faint from the sight. You walk up to the door, swiping the keycard, hearing a quiet beep afterwards. As the doors opened, you were now found in a huge laboratory full of toxic equipment and tubes with liquid, kinda looking the same as the virus Piers may have sent you. You walk down the laboraty, checking everything you can from viruses to weapons when you are met with yet another door with a new nametag "Testing Room". "Is this where Piers is?" You wonder. You begin checking the door out and you notice yet another keycard scanner. To your luck, you already do have a keycard, you quickly swipe it and the door begins to slowly open wide. What you'll see afterwards is a huge shock. It was Piers, but not really "Piers". His eye is surrounded by some weird veins, his arm is well, not THAT okay. You notice that he is tied down and hardly breathing, maybe he didn't even notice you. You begin to sprint towards him but to your surprise, Piers has no reaction at all. "Piers!?" You shout, still not receiving any type of reaction at all.
You begin to panic, "Is he dead!?" you walk up to him in shock, freeing him from his "cell". He collapses to the floor giving you more than a heart attack. You quickly check his pulse and begin to calm yourself down. "Hes alive." you sigh being relieved. You pick him up and start to figure out your exit. There are two paths you can take. The door next to you, leading straight to the exit wich is heavily guarded or the door in front of you, leading to the main hall wich is less, but the exit is longer and you don't know how long both of you can take this for. You are exhausted and Piers nearly dead! You decide to risk it and take the more faster path. You open the door, running outta there as fast as you can, not being sneaky at all. The guards quickly noticed you "sneaky" escape and are now chasing you.
"Shit" you thought, running as fast as you can till you can finnaly see the red glowing sign "EXIT". You sprint towards the door, swinging it open, making you way to your last step, escape. You sprint towards your door with the guards now grabbing their guns preparing to hunt you down, but you've had none of it. You open the doors to your car, placing Piers carefuly on the passengers seat. You start up the engine while closing the doors, driving the hell out of that place. You've started to loose the guards for a while, but soon you could see a person speeding towards you... wait person? You look at the "mirror" (idk whats it called but its on the side of the doors lol) seeing a person with blonde hair, long black coat paired with dark pants and shoes, and glasses covering his eyes. In shock, you speed up only to be more catched up by the mysterious person. "What the actual-" you groan not paying attention to the road and crashing into a tree, passing out  immediately.
