Chapter 4~

Taehyung's POV:

I woke up with pain in my chest, I looked around and noticed I wasn't in my room.

"Where am I?" I said to myself, then the memories from yesterday came to my head, Me running away from Axel, bumping into someone and being pulled toward the janitor's closet, then passing out into that person's arms. Then it hit me... it was Jungkook, I felt so embarrassed knowing that I cried in front of him and now having him deal with my problems.

I go off the bed I was laying on and started walking towards the door, there was a long dark hallway leading to other rooms, I somehow made my way down the stairs and saw Jungkook cooking. I decided to approach him and apologize for what happened yesterday.

"J-junkook", I said while walking towards him. "Oh you're awake now, come sit down at the table, breakfast is almost ready", Jungkook said and I obeyed. Once Jungkook finished he placed a plate with eggs and bacon in front of me and sat next to me in the table.

"Thanks, Jungkook I also wanted to apologize for what happened yesterday, it's my problem and you don't have to help me, I don't want you getting hurt because of me", I said looking at the plate trying to avoid eye-contact with him.

"It's okay Taehyung, I don't mind helping you, plus, I won't get hurt and knowing that the Axel guy won't leave you alone, I don't care if you don't want my help but I can't just let you get harassed by him", Junkook said, I looked at him with wide eyes because we only met each other yesterday and I didn't know that he knew so much about Axel and me.

"How do you know so much of Axel and me?" I asked him. "I have my ways, now eat before your food gets cold", Jungkook said and started eating.

As we finish eating I insisted on washing the dishes, after all, he helped me when I didn't ask for help. "U-um Jungkook could you drop me off at my house since school starts in about an hour or so", I said knowing that Jin and Namjoon would be worried about me not coming home from school last night.

"Sure, just let me change, I'll be right back", Jungkook said and walked off to his room. I sat down on the couch waiting for him.

10 minutes passed and he was finally finished, we walked to his car and got on. "Here's my address", I said and he nodded and started the engine. It took about 20 minuted to get to my house.

"Thanks, I hope I wasn't too much trouble again", I said and opened the door of his car. "Wait Taehyung don't you want me to wait for you so we can both get to school?" Jungkook said I thought about it and I just nodded since he was already here.

I walked towards my front door and unlocked it, once I opened the door I didn't hear anyone inside. I made my way towards the kitchen and saw a note on the counter...

'Taehyung, Namjoon and I are going to be gone for a couple of days because we had some meetings to attend too, we left you some food in the fridge so you can just heat it up. Love Namjoon and Jin~'

I was relieved after reading the note, I headed towards my room and changed into a black hoodie and red sweat pants. Once I finished I headed toward the door and locked it before heading to Jungkooks car.

After we got to school we both made our way towards the entrance, I saw Axel with his friends, I decided not to make any physical contact with him but I guess luck wasn't on my side because he noticed me and started walking to my direction. I felt an arm around my waist, I looked at who's arm it was and it was none other than Jungkook's. I looked up at him and saw him glaring at Axel as he made his way towards us.

"Taehyung I'm sorry for what happened yesterday, I didn't mean to scare you", Axel said and was about to grab my hand when I felt being pulled away from him. "Don't you dare touch him, you know what you did to him and there's no apology for it", Jungkook said tightening his grip around me.

I would be lying if I said I didn't like how protective Jungkook was being over me, but maybe he was just doing it to help as a friend so I shouldn't get too excited. I saw how Axel looked at me with anger in his eyes, I know how he gets jealous seeing me with another person other than him.

"Let's go Jungkook, I don't want you getting hurt", I whispered to Jungkook as I tugged the hem of his shirt. "Fine, but if he lays a hand or even a hair on you tell me okay?" Jungkook said looking at me with a serious face, I just nodded and we both made our way inside the school building leaving Axel behind.

Once we got to my classroom I turned around to face Jungkook. "Thanks for handling the situation, I don't even know how many times I 'thanks'", I said. "Your welcome Taehyung, just be more careful with Axel okay?" Jungkook said. "Sure, so... are you going to let go of me or..." I said he looked a bit confused until I pointed down towards his arm which was wrapped around my waist.

"O-oh heh, sorry about that", Jungkook said removing his arm around my waist before scratching his neck awkwardly. "It's okay, anyways see you Jungkook", I said before walking to my first class. "See you later", Jungkook said and he went towards his class.

I made my way to my seat with a big smile on my face, for some reason Jungkook made me feel protected in some way. My heart is slowly beginning to feel it's the warmth that was lost, I haven't felt this feeling in a really long time after what happened to me when I was younger...
