Britt had just got the twins to sleep for a nap & everybody else was downstairs in the family room. Lil Chres was playing Madden & Kaylah was coloring in the princess coloring book  & Roc was in the kitchen doing something

Britt: (coming downstairs, talking to the kids) Did ya’ll clean ya’ll rooms like I told ya’ll too

Kaylah: Yes mommie (holding up her picture) look mommie I color Cindewrella

Britt: (looking at her picture) It’s cute pooh, Chres did u clean up yo room

Lil Chres: (focused on the game)

Britt: Boy u heard me get off that game & go clean your room now

Lil Chres: I don’t have to listen to u, u not my real mom

Kaylah: (looking at him) Ooh Chres u bouta get in twrouble

Britt: (turning off the game) Get up there now & clean that room & I’m telling yo father what u said now go before I beat yo ass

Lil Chres: So, I don’t like u anyways & u not gone hit or I’ma tell my mama (walking upstairs)

Roc: (walking in the room, looking around) Where did Chres go

Kaylah: Him went upstairs & him was talking back to mommie

Britt: (straightening the couch pillows) Roc I swear u better go get yo son before I beat his ass & I don’t know where that smart mouth is coming from but he not bout to be talking to me like he ain’t got no sense when I treat him just like my own

Roc: What did he do & why u ain’t whoop his ass

Britt: I told him to clean his room just like I told Kaylah & he gone say he don’t have to listen to me cause I’m not his real mother & he don’t like me & if I hit him he gone tell Kierra so I advice u to go talk to him before he get a busted lip & I have to beat Kierra ass again cause I know she telling him stuff

Roc: Oh hell naw I’m bout to go whoop his little ass he know better than that & Kierra better not be putting stuff in his head cause she gone get cussed out to…I’m bout to go talk to him (going upstairs)

Roc: (walking in Lil Chres room) Chres what did u say when u was downstairs

Lil Chres: Nothing (sitting on his bed)

Roc: So why am I hearing u told Brittney u didn’t have to listen to her & that she not yo real mother

Lil Chres: Cause she not my real mother & I don’t have to listen to her cause she always make me get off my game & clean up or do something

Roc: (stern) I don’t care if she isn’t yo real mom she is yo step mother & an adult so if she tell u to do something u suppose to do it with no back talk

Lil Chres: But my mommie told me that I didn’t have to listen to her & if she hit me to tell her

Roc: Yo mom Kierra told u this stuff

Lil Chres: Yes

Roc: (stern) Well look here I’m the boss & I said she can tell u what to do & hit u if u get outta line & if u every get smart or back talk her again I’m going to beat yo ass, do u understand me

Lil Chres: (sniffing) Yes

Roc: Why all of a sudden u don’t like Brittney cause u call her ma & she is the mother to your brother & sisters & u always want her to buy u things & she do & cook u food & she done a lot for u every since u were little
