"That was delicious." A glassed boy patted his stomach. Laur wasn't sure if she could see the other boy, since she was peeking from her bedroom.
She might get caught if she went too far to see the other boy.
"I'll clean up and you can tour around." Cyan stood up and took the dishes.
"Okay, seems like a good idea but you're sure you don't want help?" the glassed boy offered.
Cyan always needs help. Only with her projects about Functs but with chores, she loves it and no one can stop her.
"No, you can relax." She refused and went to the sink. The glassed boy blankly watched her.
Then, a guy who had a cloud above his head stared at some pictures on the wall. Laur will call him cloud guy.
And the blinfolded woman sat still. Laur wasn't sure why she had a blindfold.
Suddenly, glassed boy screamed. Cyan dropped a plate and rushed to him. Blindfold woman stared at him.
Cyan pouted as she watched two tiny fires dance across the table. "These are Functs. Cute living creatures."
"Oh, wow but they burned me." glassed boy showed his hand and the functs ran around like kids.
Laur looked at them, running. They're really cute and childish. Makes her wanna pinch the cheeks of these fires. If they had any.
Then, Udd stopped as Ox bumped behind him. Udd was staring at a big window, Ox was nudging him.
Laur looked at the window too and realized what they were looking at.
It's the observers! Two black and white people was floating outside looking from the window. They were invisible so, the others couldn't see them but Laur can.
She needed to shoo these pests away. But how could she do that? Maybe, syche could help. But it was an uncontrolled sickness not a mastered ability.
Something close to syche. Theoul seems to be the answer. Laur was taught Theoul, a black, white, and green misting ability. This is about your soul coming out of your body like a ghost but not in a case where you can't get back.
Laur got back to her bed and touched her forehead with her forefinger.
"Theoul sebes." She whispered and then, a surge of force came from her feet to her head. Like a scanning machine. It was like waves from the ocean.
When it hit her head, she felt different. She can't seem to feel the soft matress under her which meant that Theoul worked.
"Yes!" She shouted, knowing that no one can hear her not even other souls. Those were only for actual souls.
Laur calmly walked out and besides the functs who were still staring at the window.
One of the souls outside was a guy who had a sidebag on. Laur will gladly call him sidebag guy and for the woman. She had her hair in a bun and she is wearing a skirt. Laur will call her skirted woman.
Then, a burning sensation touched her foot. Laur looked down and saw that the functs are poking it.
"Hey." She waved and the two cuties jumped up and down. What? Why can functs see her? That's almost impossible to happen. Humans, other souls, and animals can't see Theoul souls. Unless tur hese functs aren't animals, Cyan never said anything about these creatures if they were animals or some monstet that wete cute.
Laur decided to stop. She'd guessed that it was fine if Functs can see her. That doesn't change the fact that humans can see her. So, she didn't question it. Instead, she asked.
"Do you want to team up and shoo these away?" She pointed at the skirted woman and sidebag guy. The functs took a few seconds before nodding. Woah, Laur was surprised they were able to understand.
Ox climbed to Laur's shoulder, Laur can feel each burn but it was worth it.
But, don't tell Cyan.
She chuckled. "Yes, i won't-now, how do we start?"
