Denki's POV
The day slowly passed by class after boring class with only a small break in between for lunch which I enjoyed with my best friends. By my last class, math, I was drained of all energy and lacking any brain cells that I might have owned before. My teacher Mr. something-or-other was blabbing about dimensions of the universe or some wacky equation that would take forever to figure out even if I did have a better understanding in the mathematical world. I stared out the window, at the sky and daydreamed of what it would be like to get an ear piercing. I had been debating for two years now, whether or not I should get one. I was then interrupted by the bell, and man did I pick up my stuff -books, notebooks, and what was probably homework- into my backpack and run out of there. I was so ready for the weekend until I was hit with the reality that I seemed to have forgotten, in which was the fact that I was going to be dragged to the dangerous part of town, to a place that people who were popular and scary hung out. Thus with this thought my feet started to drag as I walked home to my two room apartment that my trust fund pays for.
I waited outside my apartment building on its steps in the same pair of white sneakers that I wore to school, black skinny jeans, a bright pink "death hello kitty" (look up "death hello kitty" and the first picture on "images" is the design on his shirt) t-shirt crop top, and black suspenders that went over my shoulders and hooked up to my jeans.
"Wow. You actually don't look not cool." Claimed an impressed Katsuki, who I hadn't noticed pulled up at the block in his black Ford truck that held Kirishima in the passenger's seat and Katsuki at the wheel.
"Aw, gee thanks. Really boosts my self confidence ya dick." I replied to his not-so-confidence-boosting comment as I slid into the back seat and buckled up.
*Timeskip to the Time They Arrive at the Skateway*
When Bakugou pulled the truck into a cracked parking lot with empty beer and other alcoholic beverage bottles littered all over with at least twenty or so other cars occupying the other few parking spaces, I thought about how the place looked dangerous and I hadn't even seen the actual destination yet.
Kirishima and his bae had already stepped out of the truck and were heading toward the half covered area of skating rinks, skating bowls, over-extended rails that were probably just for the purpose of riding down with a skateboard. I lept out of the vehicle and proceeded to run to catch up to the two. When I fell into step I realized that we were passing a large boulder that was graffitied the heck out of, but you could clearly see the words in yellow spray paint, 'Welcome to Broken Skateway'. I then turned my attention back to the direction we were walking towards and saw that the whole place was COVERED in graffiti.
"Damn." was all I could get out as I took in the insane art and the different rock music coming from all directions, wondering how I hadn't noticed the noise earlier, and beheld the sight of all the skateboarders until my eyes targeted one purple-headed male doing what I remember Katsuki once describing being called an 'ollie north' right after he slided down one of the more steep rails while still standing straight up. And of course mid-jump, his eyes just happen to find mine and this is probably the best moment of my life.
