Valentine's Day

Alex returned to his wagon late in the evening after trapeze training with Gia. When he came inside he started thinking about one thing.

Alex - Do I just think I forgot something?

The lion thought a bit, then checked the date on his tablet. His eyes widened because he forgot that it was Valentine's Day tomorrow.

Alex - Oh no... Valentine's Day. And I forgot.

Alex put down his tablet and walked in the wagon wondering. Until he came up with an idea.

Alex - For this I will have to wake up early. It has not been done before so now I have to do it as soon as possible. Fortunately, I always manage.

Alex then sat down and turned on his console and then started playing Mortal Kombat X.

The next day

Alex got up early and went outside. Then he crept into the garage wagon and then went inside. He was about to start pulling out his Maserati when a familiar voice suddenly spoke behind him.

? - Are you going somewhere, Alex?

The lion turned and saw Marty standing in the doorway.

Alex - Marty? What are you doing here so early?

Marty - I set my alarm clock too early, I didn't want to sleep anymore so I left and I see that the garage wagon door is open. I thought they were some thieves who want to steal your Maserati, or penguin's Alfa Romeo, so I decided to stop them but I see that it's just you.

Alex - Oh, thanks for trying to prevent that if there were really thieves here.

Alex - Okay. Today is Valentine's Day and I forgot to get a present for Gia. And I'm not going back until I get all the presents for her.

Marty - Oh man. Thank god Gia is forgiving and she will forgive you for that.

Alex - Thanks dude. But this is a special woman I want to be with for the rest of my life and she deserves the best.

Marty - Then go and get these things, I hope I also spend a good Valentine's day with Esmeralda.

Suddenly Marty remembered that he had also forgotten about the presents.

Marty - Damn! I think we have the same problem. I also forgot about Esmeralda's gifts. Alex, please. Can you help me? After I wanted to protect your car?

Alex - I guess I should get some things for you that you give to Esmeralda?

Alex's car was already outside, Alex waited for Marty's return until the zebra returned to him with the list. Alex looked through the list and then got into the car.

Alex - Okay, I will get these things.
