"Oi! (Mispronounced/Name)!" Inosuke shouted as you, Tanjiro, Zenitsu and him walked side by side to your next mission.
"E-Eh? What is it? A-And, it's (Y/N)." You asked, startled by his sudden outburst.
"Spar with me!" He exclaimed, and took out his swords. The rural boy almost didn't give you time to defend yourself so you dodged instead by an inch.
He slammed into a tree and face planted into the dirt, and you squealed in shock. "Gah! Inosuke-san! Gomenasai, gomenasai! Are you ok?"
All Inosuke did was laugh loudly and kicked his legs into the air, landing on his feet. "I am the King of The Mountains! Who do you think you are, thinking that I'm weak!"
You flinched and looked down at your feet, taking his words as if he just insulted you for being weak. (You thought you were.)
"H-Hey!" Zenitsu stammered, his eyes filled with anger and tears of fear. "If (Y/N)-Chan doesn't want to spar, don't just run at her like that!"
Inosuke snorted through his mask. "I am you guys' boss! I can do whatever I want!"
Tanjiro sighed and looked to you. He could smell a sad aura coming from you, but it wasn't because of Inosuke's words. It was something else. He just couldn't put his finger on it. Suddenly, you looked to him and he quickly darted his eyes away from you, blushing red.
"T-Tanjiro-san? Is something the matter?" The (H/C) hair colored girl asked, her eyes filled with worry. Inosuke was chasing Zenitsu around you guys, screaming out inaudible words.
"Er, it's nothing," The burgundy hair boy mumbled, desperately trying to avoid eye contact. "We should get going anyway. Our crow's and Zenitsu's sparrow are gonna start getting annoyed if we don't get a move on anyway."
"Alrighty then.." You mumbled, still eyeing Tanjiro, who was blushing even more as you talked.
As Inosuke and Zenitsu were spitting out insults to each other, you all arrived at the desired location of the mission, which was a coal mine of some sort.
"Alright, we're going to go in carefully. Just don't make any noi-"
The boar head boy suddenly rushed in, screaming that went along the lines of, "LET'S BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF 'EM!"
"A-Ah! Inosuke, wait for us!" You shouted and ran after him, almost tripping over yourself into the darkness.
"(Y/N)! That idiot will be fine! Just stay here with me!" Zenitsu screamed in fear, sitting on the ground with his arms wrapped around his legs.
Tanjiro sighed, grabbed Zenitsu by the haori and hauled him up to him feet. "If you want to stay with (Y/N), we have to follow her!"
Zenitsu opened his mouth and hesitated. He looked to the trees behind him then back to Tanjiro and the mission up ahead. The blond boy exhaled heavily and nodded, tears still streaming out of his face. The remaining boys looked towards the entrance of the mine and ran in.
