A hot summers day

Ive had about 3 days off and I'm already bored, I can feel that this 12 week summer vacation is going to go very slow.

I haven't spoke to Eric since I left his house the other night and I haven't heard from Alex, I'm meeting Jen later after I've helped dad with business stuff.

I woke up early and checked my phone to see if Eric had text me, but nothing. I opened the blinds to see the sun blinding my eyes, I squinted as I felt the sun burning on my face. I got dressed in a blue sun dress and some white pumps and went down stairs to wait for dad.

"Morning Jacey, I didn't think you would be up this early?" He said putting his tie on. Mum came rushing out of the kitchen with a paper bag and a bottle of orange juice.

"Eat this when you get there, your going to need the energy" she said handing the bag and juice to me.
My dad then came rushing out of the kitchen with his keys.

"Come on then Jacey, we haven't got all day" he scoffed whilst walking out the door.
I followed him down the path and took a quick look at Eric's house and didn't see him, I became more concerned.

"Come,come on, quicker we need to get these yachts to Peru as soon as possible" me dad shouted, he was instructing the crane men whilst they were moving the yachts on to the big container ship.

I was sat by myself looking out the window of my dad's office thinking about Eric too much. I texted him and not a moment later he texted back saying he was busy.

'Busy,yeah right' I thought to myself.
Eric that's type of boy that everyone would think he's a player. I like him, I mean, I like him too much...... like too much. but we have lots in common and he's just super hot.

"Jacey come and give me a hand with the life jackets" my dad demanded me. I walked down the stairs and grabbed the life jackets.
As I got downstairs and saw my mum talking to Sophie (Eric's mum)

'Why is Sophie here' I thought to myself.

"Do you need help with anything sir" I heard a familiar voice from behind me, I turned round and saw Eric, he saw me and winked pointing at the cupboard.
My dad handed Eric the life jackets and then he demanded me again.

"Jacey honey why don't you help....eric with the life jackets" I nodded and followed Eric.

"And come straight back out again, we'll be in the office" he shouted, my dad,mum and Sophie walked up the stairs and Eric dropped the life jackets and rushed over to me grabbing my waist and kissing me softly. he then pulled me into the cupboard. we started to make out a little and then we stopped.

"I'm sorry I've been ignoring you....its just....well...."he stutered, I put my hand on his face.

"It's okay Eric,you don't have to be sorry" I said

"No, no I am, because...." he replied, I raised an eyebrow and took my hand of his face.
"I love you" he blurted out.

'Oh my god he said he loved me'
I thought.
I kissed him more telling him in between kisses that I loved him too.
I think I do anyway. he's just so right for me.

I heard the door from outside open and heard my dad shouting my name. I ran out and quickly grabbed the life jackets and threw them in the cupboard.

"Eric lets go" Sophie said as Eric walked off with her.

I met Jen outside Starbucks and we both got some coffee and sat down. I told her what happened this morning she looked very concerned.
"Jacey, to be honest.....i think you better slow things down a bit, you going to get caught otherwise and you know how angry your dad gets" she explained and I nodded and took her advice in. Then I asked about Alex.
Me: "so have you heard from alex"
Jen: "no, I haven't seen her since the party. I've texted and rang her many times but know answer"
me: "why don't I ring her now"

I took my phone out of my bag and rang her. she finally answered.
"Hi jacey"
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, we've been we've been so worried about you"
"Sorry, my phone got confiscated"
"Oh right, can you meet us now?"
"Yeah, where are you?"
"Starbucks"
She hung up and 5 minuets later she arrived.
I jumped up and hugged her.
She sat down next to me and we talked. I told her about the situation at dad's yacht buissness with Eric.
"I can't believe your dating an older guy!" She shouted, I hushed her.
"I know your concerned but he's not like most older guys" I explained.
"So who was that guy you were with on Saturday?" Jen asked, Alex's face went bright red.
"He's just some gut who I met at school" she explained,she told us more about him.

She gets so concerned about me and I think it's cute because she is my best friend but, she didn't have to shout it in Starbucks.

I do love Alex as a friend but sometimes she can get a bit jealous of me and eric.

After about an hour we went home, it was still 35 degrees outside so I went up in my room and put the air conditioning on.
I the put on a pair of yellow shorts on and a oversized T-shirt and snuggled under my blanket and fell asleep.

"BOO" I heard a loud voice from my balcony window, I turned round and turned the light on to see that it was Eric.

"Eric it's four in the morning what are you doing here?" I screamed throwing a pillow at him. he ignored me and walked through the balcony door and sat on my bed taking his shirt off. I blushed pulling the blanket closer to me.
Eric got in the other side of the bed, he put his arm round me and kissed my forehead. Then falling asleep. I slowly fell asleep after him.
