Ever been given a dirty look by someone? Whether they be a complete stranger or your best friend? Or even your girlfriend! Well then don't ask Sapphire because she's the one giving someone the dirty look - now you're probably thinking of the 'dirty look' as in the bad kind, that's not what I'm talking about! Every 1 & 1⁄2 months Sapphire goes into what is called 'Gem Heat', leaving a lot on her partner Ruby's plate - and most of it has to do with her.
From Sapphire's POV.
One month ago...
Watching the waves has always made me relaxed, especially when you know what happens to me. That's when I heard Jamie walking down the beach and right toward me. "Hello." All I could do as to not be rude AND keep my composure together was just glance his way as to not let all my instincts to just JUMP HIS BONES get the better of me. So I stood up, and walked away - but he followed me! "I'm going this way too, mind if I walk with you?" I didn't even spare him a glance this time, because I knew the worst would happen if I looked at him.
When I set my eyes on Ruby all other thought went out the damn window - I needed this to be over, I need her, I can't stand it! I was so glad to be in her embrace again and out of reach of my and Ruby's fusions' admirer.

Garnet looked at Jamie and he quickly looked away. "H-Hey G-Garnet, long t-time no see." Said the mailman shyly to the gem standing before him. "Hello." Garnet replied and began walking home.
