"Seriously, Aurora. We're really sorry that we didn't know you were in the hospital. You know we would have come if we had known." Oliver explains to me, his arm wrapped around Fiona's waist.
She presses soft kisses against his neck and I can tell that he is having a difficult time speaking to me. That pleases me.
I give him a funny expression that he laughs at. "Dude me being in the hospital is much less interesting than what's going on between you two! When did this happen?" I ask, but Oliver looks as if he can't take it any longer and is kissing her like it will be their last. It was the cutest thing.
Gerdie groans. "Try being on a roadtrip with these two."
I laugh. "Aw, this is so great! Gerdie and I have been waiting for this to happen. Tell me how it happened."
Gerdie rolls her eyes and rests her head in her hands. "Some jerkoff was hitting on Fiona and Oliver had had enough. He and Fiona had been arguing all weekend and he was pissed. So he head butted the loser that had been hitting on her and with a splotty forehead, he kissed her and from that point on they have been attatched at the hip."
Giggling wildly, I push Fiona's shoulder. "Get a room you two!" I exclaim and from their profiles, I see their smiles pressed against each others. Fiona tucks her head underneath Oliver's chin and looks around through her eyelashes.
"Woah. Oliver you have totally tamed her." Oliver and I high five, laughing together. "But someone isn't." Gerdie tells me, pointing in the direction where Ren and his friends congregate in the middle of the entire lunch room.
His eyes stay locked on mine and I just can't look away. After he's sucessfully captivated me, a slow smirk stretches across his lips as if to say, You need me too... don't you? I quickly snatch my gaze away and cast my glance down.
"He is not my concern anymore."
"And what about your sexy bodyguard? What happened to him?" Gerdie asks.
A slow smile stretches across my lips. "He's around if I need him."

Light streams in from my door as someone enters the room. Probably my mother coming into my room to watch me sleep. But when the person slips underneath the covers beside me and pulls me into them, I then knew that this was not my mother holding me right now.
My hands felt around with lazy determination in search of the blanket to cover my cold feet. As if little fairies were in the room, my feet somehow grow warm with an unseen force. I was sleeping so good right now that I just couldn't muster up the strength to open my eyes and see who brought on such wondorous sleep.
A kiss is pressed against my temple and that only confirmed who it was. "What time is it?" I mumur, as another kiss is planted on my jawbone.
"It's 2am," Ren's voice is husky, but I can tell he is very much awake right now. "And before you ask, Rhonda let me in. I had to see you, Aurora."
I sigh, putting my hands on his chest and pushing him away but my hands feel like over cooked noodles and he's holding onto me for dear life. "You're not supposed to be here."
"Aurora, please." He begs softly. "Please dont do this to me."
But I wasn't gonna just let what happened go that easily. No. I had the right to be stubborn. "No, let go of me."
He burries his face in the crook of my neck. "I couldn't even if I tried." He murmurs. "I miss you. More than I should ever miss anything." I pry at his fingers at my waist. "I don't know how many times in how many different languages I'll have to tell you that I need you. I refuse to go another day without touching you or seeing another guy all over you. This is fucking torture and I can't do it anymore. You win okay? You win, just please let me hold you."
