It had been a yeat since Iris' incident. She spent most of her time in Little space, and pushed Sehun away. She thought he was the problem. But it wasn't him, it was her pushing her heart away, pushing him away, that broke her. She hadn't drank for 3 months, an achievement considering the issues and pain she was feeling.
She told Chaeyeon about her crush, and she told her some advice. "The more you hide and push him away, the more pain and hurt you will feel. And the more you'll feel the urge to start drinking again." Chaein no longer pushed away Sehun, but she never confessed her love, she never told him all she wanted him to know.
Sehun knew she was hiding something, but didn't question. Chaein knew she would have to tell him soon, before he found someone to love. "Sehun?" She snuggled into his chest. It was weekly cuddling time, something she did to make up to him. "Yes Noona?" He held her close, and she could here his heart beat.
She sat up and her eyes disappeared as she smiled. She hugged him and said nothing. She wanted to surprise him. The next day came, and she set up a meal for Sehun with a note on the napkin.
Dear Sehunnie, I think I left my phone in my room, but I have to go now as Ms. Kim Naeun here to pick me up. Please bring it to Chaeyeon's as I will be having breakfast there, Many thanks Innie Noona~
He ate quickly and took the phone from her as he ran to Chaeyeon's house, expecting there to be a Chaein there. But it was just Yerim, the maid. She smiled at Suho, and suddenly Chaein's phone pinged.
Hi Sehun, I'm at the cafe because Chae ran out of coffee. Sorry about any inconvenienced, but do you think you can come and give me my phone here?
Sehun sighed but replied with a quick Be right over, and bowed as he left for the cafe near Chaeyeon's house. When he arrived only Chaeyeon was there. She looked at Sehun and smiled. "Ahh, her ex was here so she went to the park to avoid running into him." Sehun groaned, he hated Iris' ex due to how much he hurt her.
He went to the park, and there he saw the most beautiful thing;

The sun had not fully risen, and the the shade from the trees made everything even better. She stood there, holding out flowers as she said, "I love you~" Sehun looked from her to the flowers and smiled as he pulled her petite body closer. He brought their faces closer, but to tease her place a kiss just next to her lips. The girl pouted, but did not protest.
They sat and enjoyed a glass of wine, Chaein being careful not to have more than one and ruin her great record. They watched the sun rise, and Chaein grabbed Sehun's hand as she led him to her parents small cottage, inside it was decorated nicely:

She ran to the kitchen and grabbed the cake. She brought it out, and told Sehun to close his eyes, "No peaking~" She went behind him and told him to turn around. He did, and he saw a cake written; I'm sorry~

The girl looked at him with a smile on her face, the smile that he loved, that she knew made him melt. He smiled as put the cake down and pecked her . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Cheek (A/N: LOL u thought) She smiled as they ate the cake, saving some for the other members. She then took him to her Brother Doyoung's animal shelter, as she knew he had been wanting a puppy. Even though EXO said he couldn't keep it, it doesn't mean he can't bond with one.

Sehun bent down and the dog looked at him. He smiled and they spent most of the day with him, and she said it could be his, and they would come see him any day they could, and if they had time, take him to the cottage and live with him there until the schedule builds up again. Sehun hugged the short girl and thanked her, not forgetting to thank Doyoung too.
Chaein grabbed his arm and led him back to the park, they sat down, and the sun had set. She smiled as she looked at her phone. She had to time this right. She looked at where Soujin was standing, and nodded. She looked at Sehun. "Sehunnie~ I've liked for a long time. And I pushed away my feelings, thinking you wouldn't love me back. I hated myself for liking someone who never see me the same way.
I lost it, I drank, I hurt myself and made you worry. I pushed you away, thinking it would help me move on, but actually made things worse. I hurt myself by trying to stop myself hurting. But I loved you, and always will. Will you be my boyfriend?" Sehun smiled as he leaned in a kissed Chaein's lips. Then, the fireworks went off, and Chaeyeon took a photo for them to remember the moment by

They pulled away and watched the display, smiling like idiots. Chaein looked at Sehun and smiled, wondering how she was so lucky to have him accept her.
The display ended, and they went home, EXO congratulating the two maknaes. Sehun smiled at Chaein, and gave her a quick peck, causing EXO to scream and tease the two. Did they care? No, not really. All they cared about in that moment was being in each other's embrace
