Until We Meet Again

Prologue

"Will you marry me?" I heard Kurt asked. I froze. I was about to turn and say my answer but then...

"Yes. Yes! Kurt!" The girl said... Victoria my best friend. Kurt was proposing to Victoria. I was still standing there with glossy eyes while everyone are cheering and congratulating them.

"Serenity, Are you alright?" Someone asked I didn't notice that I was spacing out the whole time and crying there. "Oh. Yes I'm fine I'm just happy for the both of them." I said, forcing a smile.

They smiled back and continued with their business. In my peripheral view I saw someone coming in my direction. I looked at that person and realized it was Victoria. I forced a smile once again. She hugged me. I felt bad for not being happy for the both of them.

"Thank you so much for planning this... You don't know how much you made me happy. " She said, still hugging me. I was confused at first but smiled when she pulled away."Oh, yeah... That's nothing. I'm so happy for the both of you!" I said.

She gave me one last hug before she went away.

I thought my dreams were coming true. I thought my life was going to be perfect.

I thought this was my happy ending, but I was wrong. This was their happy ending...
