Meeting her

Julie's POV

I stood up and packed my things then headed out. Where else would I go? -of course the library.

I just remembered what happened last night the whole discussion. I wasn't focused. Like always, but still.

When he started the engine, silenced quickly followed. We were quiet the whole ride. Then he stopped his car so I looked outside and we already arrived at the bridge. So I turned to him and said thank you but he didn't say a word. Until I got out of his car.

"Don't you think we've been running into each other lately, Ms. Moon?" With that he drove away.

Does this mean he doesn't wanna see me anymore? Aba bakit gusto ko din ba siyang makita? Sana nga! Sana nga hindi ko siya makita at makausap! Wag siyang tumabi tabi sakin kundi nakuuu tignan niya lang talaga.

Nasa library ako ngayon. At pilit ko namang intindihin ang bawat salita ng aking binabasa. Everytime na magfofocus ako sa pagbabasa bigla bigla nalang mag fa-flashback yung mga nangyari kagabi. Flashes of scenes were viewed like a film from a projector. I don't really quite get the fact na dalawang lalake ang nagpapaganito sa isip ko ngayon. After minutes of almost in a trance, I finally gave up and returned the book to it's proper place.

I was heading back to the room when something echoed through my ears that caused me to halt. Words came out like "Good morning students. School will be inspected today for clean ups and replacements as two weeks from now, visitors from different divisions will be coming. So as for today, you can all go home. Updates will be posted on the official page so stay tuned everyone . Happy learning!"

I heard many footsteps coming out of the doors with their bags and momentarily smiles on faces. The faint conversations going on like where would they go, others would go clubbing, others shopping and others just decided to stay home.

So ako? San ako pupunta?

I started moving again and then stopped when I saw someone walking towards my direction. I'm really not fond of making praises of someone's whole being but this one was an exemption. In a crowd of much noises and moving but my eyes never failed to meet his.

His lazy eyes were just locked into mine with him holding one hand of his bag in a typical bad boy style while the other is in his pocket. His hair never was neat  even a bit. I could describe him now as a mischievous person with a mix of 'I-still-follow-rules' vibe. Momentarily, a light seems to come from his back as if he was some Greek God. I held my breath until he just came right pass me. Not a word from his mouth.

Disappointed

Shut it. I shooked my head then pat my blazer before continuing to walk away from this institution. Pwede naman ako maglakad. Kaso ayoko pang umuwi.

I decided to just go to a local park. Malapit lang din naman iyon dito. Mabuti munang makapagrefresh ako to let my thoughts clear.

When I got to the park dumiretso agad ako sa swing nito. Hinay hinay kong pinush ang paa ko sa lupa.

He seemed cold. Yeah ano kaya problema nun? Bakit kaya siya ganon? Hindi naman siya ganyan noon ah? Baka natapos na yung trial na iannoy ako. Tss. Buti nga.

Teka. Nagugutom ako.

Tumingin ako sa kaliwa at may nakita akong bata na may hawak na lollipop. Tila hindi niya ito mabuksan. Asan ba ang yaya nitong batang to? At pinapabayaan lang yan dyan? Tumayo na ako para lumapit sa bata.

"Kid, akin na" I told the kid. The kid's age is around 5 or 6 and she is a bit chubby. Malaki ang kanyan pisngi.

Binigay ng bata yung lollipop and I opened it.
