Unhelpful meeting

the university gate is crowded with students entering the first day of monday after the christmas vacation, they all walk in not in the best of moods, even though some of them are happy to see their friends again, ten can't feel the same happiness, if he could chose he would stay in bed and sleep all day without put a single step on the floor, but he's not different from the others, so he just passes the enter going to his classroom.
the lesson will start in few minutes and the crowded class is full of chatter and slight laughs, a sigh leaves ten's lips while watching at his ipad, he just can't concentrates on what he's going to study, even though some time has passed he can't put it together, he keeps thinking about him and spaces out every time he can.
ten comes back to reality when a loud voice captures his attention, seeing a tall boy walking to him and sitting next to him just to smile and great him a good morning.

" did you sleep well? "

ten smiles back at the boy, he can't say anything but can just think about how beautiful the taller his, making his breathe to stop just a little bit.
the inly news he has now in his life is the presence of this older friend of jaehyun who just transferred from america some months ago.

" good morning to you johnny, i did sleep well, what about you? "

the american boy smiles even brighter while placing an arm around the smallest shoulders and put him closer just to show his affection, ten doesn't give this kind of attentions easily, he kind of hates when people he doesn't know well want to touch him, but he never felt this kind of bother for the other, he's just so pure and bright that it's impossibile fo get annoyed by his behavior.

" i slept well, but i'm missing classes again, i can't get it, i had so many exams and can't get a good score anytime... "

the sorrowful voice of the taller boy makes ten laugh a little and his laugh become more noisy as the other one ask him in a cute way why he's laughing about his disgraceful university life.

" you're such an idiot, if you could just satisfy yourself with your grades you wouldn't be so desperate "

johnny wants the best in his studies, he always refuses his grades to get better ones, this makes him a good student, but in any case put a lot of pressure on his shoulders and ten always wondered why the other couldn't just get happy with a grade that is good but not perfect.

" i know.. " complains the taller in a cute voice " ... but i want to do it well, as much as i can! "

ten shakes his head with a smile on his lips, but before answering to the boy the teacher makes his entrance in the room and the class falls in a respectful silence.

the class ended well and the boys goes to their favorite cafe after taeyong and jaehyun joined them, they walks trough the door and sit at their favorite spot, the chatter fulls the bar and make tue atmosphere more happy, after ordering they keep talk and ends up with funny facts of the day.

" this morning a bunch of idiots stepped on an iced spot and fell all together " johnny laughs with the others while narrates.

taeyong chokes on his drink ending up spilling in back and making the other guys make fun of him while making disgusted sounds.
ten slaps his arm while laughing and johnny stops to breathe for a moment, he can't describe the reason, but seeing the small boy laugh is very unique, he's often quiet and not so full of mood, but lately he feels like the thai boy is letting himself being more comfortable in the situations they live all together.
the bell on the door rings as johnny turn his head instinctively, he sees a boy with short brown hair crossing the door, looking straight to them and walking to their table, when he comes back to look the others he can see ten being near taeyong more ad more, shaking in his arms and a truce look on his friend, jaehyun looks angry and he can't get whats happening.

" hi ten, baby, can we talk alone? "

" get the fuck off. " taeyong voice resonates in the room, raising it way too much.

" i wasn't talking to you. " the unknown boy responds in a rough way, making johnny get his back straight as he feels an alert.

" ehy, what do you want? i don't know you but you can't treat like this my friends. " the american boy stands up to the shorter with no name, he can see a fear crossing the boy's eyes, he hear a sigh and the boy leaves.

johnny gets back to his seat while sighing himself, he put an hand on ten's shoulder asking him what's wrong, but can feel jaehyun's stare and as he can see his best friend shaking his head to tell him not to mention it, he keeps silence, letting the strange atmosphere fall on their shoulders.

17:00

johnny enters his house with a sad face, his mother looks at him confused before asking him what happened, but he doesn't say anything before getting to his room, a slight sigh let his lips before falling in his bed, he rolls over it near to fall and ends up beating the mattress with his legs.
why does he feel like this? he's so sad after what happened he can't understand, maybe seeing the thai boy become so sad and scared made him feel bad too, he couldn't understand who that boy was, but he's sure that if the other got so upset seeing him a serious reason is involved.
he grabs his phone fast and starts typing.

ten's ex, he broke with him saying really mean things after two years of serious relationship, he's such a dick, i always hated him, he always got on my nerves with his slight sarcasm that i can't really stand.

johnny puts an hand in his hair, moving them up his face with a nervous look, jaehyun wasn't the type to hate someone without a reason, so he's really wondering what that boy would've done so bad to get on his nerves so much.

yeah.. but ten's still not over him at all, he got so hurt that he can't help himself with get through this, we tried to help him, but now he's just pretending to be okay trying not to annoy us.
