With the duel won in Judai's favor he was chosen as the Special Elite Duelist much to the dismay of Professor Crowler. Crowler would begrudgingly escort our hero to meet with the chancellor of the academy in order to receive his assignment
Crowler: Judai why did it have to be you out of everyone
Judai: I dunno teach ...... Professor Crowler, can I ask you a question
Crowler: What is it
Judai: Why do you despise me
Crowler stops at the sound of those words turning around to meet Judai face to face
Crowler: Judai I don't hate you. There's so much more to this world that you don't know, because you won you're about to be thrusted into this unknown. And frankly you're to immature to understand what's about to happen
Judai: I think you're underestimating me, Im pretty mature for my age
Crowler: Says the slacker that was talking to his cards just the other day
Judai: They talk back I'll have you know
Crowler and Judai arrive at the Chancellor's office. Stepping inside the Chancellor's office they were met by a strong presence emanating from the Chancellor.

The Chancellor himself was a tall and rather bulky man he was bald and had a cybernetic visor. The chancellor spoke staring out a window in his office not directly facing our hero and his teacher.
Chancellor: I see that Mr. Yuki has been decided as the Special Elite Duelist
Crowler: Yes he has been although. I do still question your judgement in nominating him to begin with.
Chancellor: Are you questioning my authority Crowler
Crowler flinches at this thought looking down in shame. Judai watching Crowler intently knew something was wrong

Chancellor: Very well know leave us Crowler I would like to speak with the boy alone

Crowler leaves the room speaking no words of scorn to Judai like he normally would. He left Judai alone almost ignoring his existence. Judai knew something was definitely different, at any chance be had Crowler would put the effort in the at least tease the young man.
Chancellor: I've heard quite the tales about you Mr. Yuki
Judai: oh you have?
Chancellor: I've heard that you are an outstanding duelists with the innate ability to speak with duel monster spirits
Judai: Well I don't mean to toot my own horn but, it is all true
