As I'm walking down to the café, my hands shaking a little. "I'm nervous? How can I be nervous?" I ask myself, "I rarely ever get nervous about these minuscule things. " As I enter the café about 3:45, I look around and don't spot him, yet. So, I decide to order a mocha white chocolate frappuccino, hoping that will settle my nerves a little. As I'm sipping on my frappuccino on a table in the corner, I spot Cole entering the café.
He walks in, looks around and spots me, he approaches and as he approaches, I get more nervous. He sits down across from me and looks me in the eyes and says, "Thank you for meeting with me. I'm just going to get straight to the point. That day that you fell on top of me, I think it was fate. I think we were meant to meet. The way you look at me, I catch it and I see something I've never seen before. I've had many girls look at me and love me, but you look at me, differently. You look at me and it looks like you see all of me and you accept it and I love it. I could tell you that I'm in love with you, but honestly I don't know. I know that you are going to be important in my life." I look at him with the most amazed face in the world. I smile like a fool and he leaves me speechless. At that moment, I wanted to spill everything and tell him "I love him", but I didn't. I just smiled and told him, "I'm glad I met you and yes I do see you like I've never seen anybody. You're gorgeous in every way. I want to say I'm in love with you, but I don't know what actual love feels like. I know you matter and I want to get to know you better."
He nods in agreement and his eyes
seem to light up, every time he looked at me. My heart felt like it was jumping to my throat as I looked at him, one last time before we departed our separate ways.
"I'll see you on Monday, Cole." I say to him with a smile. "Monday, it will be" he says as he walks away from me.
