"It's hopeless Jessica. Know one will ever love me until I'm 50 years old." Abby says sadley. She picks up a pencil and starts righting.
"Don't worry Abby. You'll find someone eventually." She looks at Abby then thinks of something that her friend did to get a boyfriend.
"Hey Abby, my friend got a boyfriend online, they're still dating up to this day. You should try online dating."
I put down my pencil and rolled my eyes at her."I would never do that. Its just stupid. Whole know you might think that you're talking to a really hot person and you're actually talking to a 40 year old person that sits on his couch and plays on his computer all day."
"Abby, don't be so naive. You have a fifty fifty chance it's going to be a really hot person."
Before I could answer the bell rings and we head home. I don't have a car so I walk home. When I get in the door I set my purse next to my laptop. I go and get some food out of the fridge from last nights dinner and sit down on my couch. I glance to the side of me and stare at my laptop intensely. I thought of what Jessica said. I grabbed my laptop and got on to a group chat type of thing. I started taking to a guy named Andrew.
And we wrote:
"You seem like a nice girl Abby. We should meet up sometime."
That's where I stopped him. I knew it. He was to good to be true.Andrew was probably a really fat guy on the other side of the computer.
