"Um thats sweet of you but, I prefer to talk a bit longer. You know just to take it slow." I take a deep breath and began reading his texts.
"Not to be a stalker, but what high school do you go to?"
I had no choice but to tell him. I mean how much damage could telling him what high school you go to be? "Um, I go to the one right next to the bigger high school."
"No way. I go to the high school next to you."
I got creeped out like he was lying to me just to make me like him. But I still don't know what he looks like. He has a profile picture of him with a brown leather jacket, which is pretty cute but I don't think a person that looks like that would like someone like me.
"Um, it's getting late. Maybe you could get my phone number and I'll talk to you tomorrow."
I gave him my phone number and realized that he quit the conversation, not me. Now I know he's not desperate.
I went to bed and thought a little while, trying to imagine what he looked like. the only image I could see was his profile picture.
For a moment I seemed like the desperate one. I wanted to text him so bad. I had to wait till tomorrow.
When morning arose I brushed my teeth and ran to school. I met up with Jessica and sat down at and empty table with her. I couldn't stop smiling and twirling my hair with my fingers.
"Woah Abby whats gotten into you today? You seem, more happy."
I just continue to smile but finally answered her question."nothings wrong. I'm just happy, it's a normal thing, isn't it Jessica?"
She crosses her arms and smiles."Well yes but not for you Abby. You're usually sad because you..., No way Abby, you're online dating, aren't you."
I try to stay serious. "Pshhhh... ha, nooo."
